Anadenanthera colubrina

i had bought some salvia from a reliable vendor and I got a pack of these seeds as well. I checked Erowid and they look pretty much the same "reddish brown" and disk shaped.

I read one of the trip reports and he said that he grinded them up in a coffee grinder and then smoked them with some dagga. another report says they smoked it with wormwood.

is smoking it the only way you can do this? and if you do smoke it, do you have to take it with something else or is it effective enough on its own?

The plant you have mentioned in the title is otherwise known as Yopo if I am not mistaken. In the Amazon they would snort it in a ritualistic shotgunning method. Read up on it sir.

yea lime+grind seeds+snort=to intense bufo/slight dmt's trip and intense pain.

can be ground and smoked aswell.

do a search in the entho garden here plenty of posts and discussion

I have some seeds on damp TP at the moment, hoping that they will germinate...
They've swollen up, and they SMELL. Does anyone know if this is normal??

yea thats normal. day or two and theyll sproat. and they grow pretty fast.

I have sprouted some of them but they are hard to sprout. If none sprout they are probably too old. Never tried the snorting thing and don't think I will. Might try smoking some.

yeah, they smell pretty bad. i've found they orally (chewing or swallowing) very active but the smell... no no. =)

very interesting I've never even thought to try it that way......any recommendation for sublingual dosage? Any personal experience? Maybe a report of your personal findings?

perhaps if you have the yopo powder it won't stink bad like a chewed fresh seed would...

I feel like the reason I never thought of it is because my mind, knowing how bad the smoke tasts, wouldn't even let me concider it. Though I realize that most things that can be insufflated and be used sublingually.

hmmm, actually a friend of mine who likes yopo very much (he always carries a stash with him when he can) had once some TOP concentrated yopo (im not talking about pure bufotenin, far away) and he said it had become an unsnortable resin 'drop' and so he ate it all (like 1,5 grams!!!)...
he said that day he has (barely) done his things feeling like he was in the bottom of the ocean, that the air was heavy upon himself (he was going to the bank, this place, that)...
dumb fella, luckier than smarter. the jaguar is very forgiving with him... he said there was a bit nausa but nothing annoying.

ah, a very rare case indeed . There are still many secrets of the seeds that have yet to be revealed . Many junglin's I speak with fear that it will only increase use among the gringo's and expidite its scheduling. I personally dont see that happening though. MUhc to paindful.

yopo forces one through a pain ritual (OLD shamen school), it's never gonna be abused by westerners who can go to the corner and buy a sixpack or a bag of weed or meth or crack or horse...
anyways, even for smoking yopo it takes a very odd taste for a 'high'... bcs one gets all drowsy and sleepy, not to say totally wasted, useless for abusing purposes...
i wonder if one keeps trying to smoke an insane quantity of yopo he'll eventually fall aside unable to smoke anymore of motor impairment or of complete lack of thoughts (or perhaps of trippin if you're lucky).

Its not as far out as it may seem felix. afterall Yopo is illegal because it contains scheduled chemicals. YOu don't find it odd that Bufotenine is illegal? It was in the recent DEA microgram too. I'm just saying, draw to much attention to it and its bound to fall victom to US drug laws.

I could never snort that stuff - doesn't seem to me like you could ever get it powdered enough to not rip up your nostrils.

Smoking or subling seems best.

drawing attention to something as interesting as yopo is innevitable. It's worthy of attention. I personally dont see it being scheduled anytime soon, but others I have spoken with do. Not my opinion but the opinion of some suppliers.

also, when I mentioned Yopo being illegal in the post above, I was refering to the drug preperation from the seeds. not the actual seeds.
