Go to the minds of music website and see the free tracks section. It's the track called My Oxy, those of you who have heard my style before can hear my current style has had a makeover.
This is my new style.

I assume it's oxy_v4_demo.mp3.m3u?
If I try and download the mp3 it says my daily download is exceeded. If I try and download the m3u (playlist file?) it doesn't play in my iTunes......

nice!
like it better than your style before. more variation in the track (that's what it needed;)) and you have some nice new samples of real instruments wich make your track warmer along with some tribal drums you've used. you've definately improved your style

Thanks.
I'm gonna try and setup a server and make some high quality tracks available from there as well. I made these a maximum of 64 Kbps to save bandwith and server space (since I have to pay for my website) The end of this demo is to soft, as soon as I find the original track I will make it even better then it already is.

Hmmm...I don't really like any of them. Just my preference. If I would have to give it a number 10 is great 1 is horrible. I would give it a 2.5

oh yeah, what I also wanted to say is that the song is a little long. I would make it shorter (less repeating) so it's more interesting to listen to.

I know, but this version is the version I'm planning on using on live gigs. Thats why its long, I need lenght to mix while it plays live.. And there is a bit of change missing which i deleted from the demo.. I will release a short cut non commercial version of the track as well.

I dig it fliq, lots of texture, great rhythm with the tribal drums. I could definitely see myself dancing to this at a live show, it has that mood. The last variation around 8:00 I REALLY like, the drums are layered quite good, and the harmony washed with reverb is Tight...
Your new style=pimp. high fiver

Thanks a lot, comment from you is most welcomed any day. I agree about the part around the 8:00, my fellow D.J./E.J. said it might be a better idea to cut the track in two pieces around that area. I myself was thinking of making the switch a bit softer by using a better drum switch over. But on the other hand the part around 8:00 is very good, it could deserve to be a seperate track.
What do you think Blastrid? Divide and conquer? Or should I try to make the transition a bit smoother?

It's definitely had me feeling like it was transitioning into a new song right before then... I figured you had sort of began a mix, sort of like DJ's do on stage, you know what I mean?
If you feel a certain connection between the two, I'd say keep it. But from where I'm sitting under my headphones I think they'd be better off as seperate tracks. I love tracks that feed into eachother somehow (Chemical Brothers-Surrender the album is a great example), and if you can pull it off and not make it sound like the track is just cut in half, then i'd say Definitely Do it.
