Am I right in thinking this spot looks like contam

On this pic the growth looks splotchy and fluffy but the rest looks stringy like this

But this pic looks stringy and good I circled the spot I think is contam

I don't think it is. Mycelium can switch between rhizomorphic (stringy) and tomentose (fluffy) pretty much any time. I'd be concerned if it didn't keep spreading.
