Holy shit, monkeys are not the animal vector. Monkeypox has been spreading person to person in Africa for five years. It is not a zoonotic disease anymore.

And people laugh and think it’s just being woke to want to change the name of the disease, but obviously the name is causing confusion in low information news consumers.

I dont really worry about monkeypox... Yet. Anytime i touch someone other than my girl im usually wearing gloves, or about to use hand sanitizer, or both


I guess i could randomly get it from some fomite but as of yet it doesn't seem worth my anxiety
