You may not know. They start off looking like little pimples and are not really noticeable. Also people are not getting very physically sick. Some people only have the lesions.

Monkeypox isn't even close to as transmissible as covid. It's not going to put up similar numbers unless it was/is somehow modified to be way more transmissible than pox viruses normally are.

I don't remember the smallpox blankets because it was before my time in this life, but everyone who has heard that story knows exactly who was responsible for that...

Since I just read on the CDC website that monkeypox spreads through bodily fluids, respiratory secretions/saliva being one...

Wouldn't making everyone wear masks again kind of be like making little smallpox blankets in a way? For those wearing them who are infected anyways...
