Why does every company turn to shit right after I'm hired?!

RANT

I swear, within a year after starting somewhere, the whole place falls apart & it's happening again. I go on the permanent payroll here on Monday and the guy I'm working under is cleaning out his desk and walking out as I type this. The administrative assistant already said she's gonna look for a new job 'cause the boss is a dick and the sales guy is the only thing that made this place bearable.

I've had a bad history of impulsively quitting jobs 'cause I'm pissed, so my finances are all fucked up and my resume is starting to have too much job-hopping on it. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!! I think I have to still take this job, but in 2 months, I'm gonna be the only one left here with the asshole boss.

Dammit, why the hell does this keep happening!? All I want to do is find someplace decent to work for a few years so I can get my shit together and then go to trucking school and never work in an office again. I'm so sick of looking for work right now, especially when I think I already have a job.

Ugh...just blowing off steam, no reply needed.

at least you can get an office job. 

last time I worked all I could get was retail. 

But now I just subsist on criminal incomes and hopefully college grants. 

I'm much happier now that I don't have a boss :smile:

Trust me, office jobs look a whole lot better when you don't have one.  I've been doing this since I was 14 and now I'm almost 30 and stuck with an accounting career I don't even want.  I can't really afford to drop back to entry-level wages in another field, so here I sit.

If I was a guy, I'd go work in construction or some other manual labor.  Yeah, I'd have to work hard, but at least it would be real work, not this mind-numbing bullshit where nothing actually gets done.  I seriously am going to be a trucker as soon as I can pay my bills...and those pesky outstanding tickets that are fucking up my driving record.  :tongue:
