Ah, East Texas cubies
    #2783170 -

Specifically, Tyler. Gotta love 'em. They grow everywhere, fight off virtually every other mushroom in the vicinity, and are so damn contamination-resistant. In a huge batch, like perhaps an almost-overflowing handful of partially-dried ones, only one got contaminated.

Funny, though, the caps seem to get not bigger than about 2cm across on the fields where I pick, although I've picked cubies on some other fields where they've reached 6-7cm easily.

To clarify: that huge batch was huge for me, and it was a double handful, cupped-style =]
