Ive never had covid because I boosted my immune system with a bacon diet for my booster shot, oh yeah lent 2020 I fasted 40 days that helped too, I'm also a chronic social anorexic, I dont see other people, and I wore a kn95 when I did have to go out

That has been the single best thing/silver lining about the pandemic- haven't had any seasonal colds or flus in 2 years. Crazy.

I guess whenever everything gets back to "normal," we'll all have no tolerance and be laid up dealing with that shit for a while.

Covid cases here are practically zero, and no one is masking or socially distancing anymore. There isn't any actual evidence for the effectiveness of a second booster either, they kinda jumped the gun on that one. There are downsides to getting the same vaccine over and over, too. Plus the protection provided by the vaccine and first booster is already excellent.

Personally I'm just going to wait until the vaccine specifically tailored for omicron comes out, at which point I'll get the moderna because my others were pfizer, and it's been shown that mixing produces better results. That probably won't be for like a year though.

I've been in a bunch of high risk situations and haven't caught anything (not noticeably anyway) so I think things are going well.

Man in Germany received 90 COVID-19 shots to sell fake vaccine cards to others

BERLIN (AP) -- A 60-year-old man allegedly had himself vaccinated against COVID-19 dozens of times in Germany in order to sell forged vaccination cards with real vaccine batch numbers to people not wanting to get vaccinated themselves.

The man from the eastern Germany city of Magdeburg, whose name was not released in line with German privacy rules, is said to have received up to 90 shots against COVID-19 at vaccination centers in the eastern state of Saxony for months until criminal police caught him earlier this month, the German news agency dpa reported Sunday.

The suspect was not detained but is under investigation for unauthorized issuance of vaccination cards and document forgery, dpa reported.


He was caught at a vaccination center in Eilenburg in Saxony when he showed up for a COVID-19 shot for the second day in a row. Police confiscated several blank vaccination cards from him and initiated criminal proceedings.

It was not immediately clear what kind of impact the approximately 90 shots of COVID-19 vaccines, which were from different brands, had on the man's personal health.
