ID request: Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia 4 (Death Caps?)

Fourth from some photos from my recent trip to the mountains. I'm fairly certain these are not edible or active. I suspect these may be death caps or something similar.

Habitat:
Pine forest on the ground.

Gills:
White.

Stem:
About 20-30 mm long, 10 mm dia, white, smooth, solid.

Cap:
About 30-40 mm dia, white, smooth, spherical, convex.

Spore print color:
I didn't pick it so no spore print.

Bruising:
No visible bruising but I didn't wait around very long.

Might be Russula.    Does it have any flavor?  Does the stem snap like chalk when you bend it?

I didn't take it with me and since I thought they were Death Caps (I'm now leaning more towards Destroying Angels), there was no chance I would have put it in my mouth. I get that if you don't swallow, poisoning is very unlikely, but I just wasn't THAT curious.

As for stem, it was firm but I didn't bend it. It cut very cleanly so may snap but can't confirm.

I looked up Russula and none of the images looked like this one. What made you suggest that?

gills color and structure, cap,thick stem.. look at other russula gills..google "white russula" there are many undescribed or too close to id in the field rus. sp. they come in many colors.
