nurses are quitting everywhere, but mostly for far less stupid reasons. L&D nurses have not been involved in the COVID crisis at all. COVID positive L&D patients end up in COVID positive units, and there arent enough COVID positive women giving birth to have a unit for JUST them


I promise you the hospital administration filled the shift with temp agency nurses within a couple of hours.

Cost the hospital a pretty penny but L&D nurses are much more easily replaced than most others

this is a genuine firsthand look at how stupid journalism can get that I rarely have

It also doesnt surprise me at all that L&D was the unit where this happened



I promise you this shit doesnt happen in MICU/SICU/ER

Guess we will see what happens moving forward

I know I read an article a while back, something about mandatory vax to go into stores or something I thought in Russia maybe idr, but everyone ended up protesting any business that was doing it, including those who got the vax, and the stores called and demanded they change the mandate

That was a typo.

It was meant to say quitting.

As in people quitting their job.

So this article points out that people are getting the vax even though they were and are hesitant, they're being convinced to.

And the article goes on to say basically at every corner they will be doing everything in their power to convince people to get the vax.

Anything else is misinformation and likely Russia and China.

This isn't all suspicious..? Seriously. You guys trust this?

Idk much about Putin but in the article read what she's saying.

I don't see how anyone can trust that.

If you don't think they employ all the tactics they describe about foreign misinformation on us, you're crazy. 

"Disinformation, we are not new to"

"We are aware of it, we are monitoring it"

They don't do that to us in order to control our perception ?

Give us disinformation, monitor our thoughts, worries, views, meet them at every turn with their truth?

Idk maybe I'm paranoid.

Seems like they've been employing these tactics on us, the citizens, for a long time.

Thing you gotta realize, this is no longer a question to us. We all got our shot, like, half a year ago. Non-issue. No big deal. Easy choice. You're basically just arguing with yourself.

You want to get riled about about disinformation and manipulation and conspiracy, because it justifies your "gut feeling" (which, as is being made clearer and clearer, is actually at its core based in political ideology that you seem unaware you've picked up)

Most of these political ideologies have developed recently, so something has pushed that to happen

I'm sharing things in relation to covid, not currently arguing.

Right-wing anti-big-gov sentiment isn't all that new, so i'm not sure what you mean. A Pandemic+a contested presidential election certainly drove some folks into the deep end though.
