What would 30 grams fresh of Psilocybe cubensis be like.....

For a first trip? Me and 2 friends will be getting some next week, and none of use have any experiance, so help would be great. Thanks! ^_^

For my first trip I ate 27 grams fresh, which evens out to around 2.7 grams dried and I had a very nice experience. Were you two planning on splitting this?

We're planning on having 30 grams fresh each. We're going to do stuff like walk in nearby woods and watch fantasia, I'm really excited ^_^

My friend and I probably ate about 40 grams + for the first time, just because he didn't have a scale so ate a bunch, then ate more when we felt nothing a half hour later. It kicked our ass, and i bet 30 grams would too, but in such a good way. The woods will look unbelievable, just be sure not to actually believe you're loosing your mind. Kinda freaked my friend and I out for a bit during our first trip. :mushroom2:

Are we talking Mexican or Colombian cubensis? Columbian are stronger! I'd say if it's a first time, do more like 15-20g each if they're Colombian. Happy trails!!

First time i went tripping i took about 10-15g fresh. My trip was quite intense (i think i have a low tolerance tho :wink:) i experienced melting, dancing wallpaper, sinking TV and a very intense mind trip, unfortunately this was quite a bad trip and send me into an intense phase of paranoia (then i started tripping over what kind of person i was for 2hours lol) tho looking back it was still a enjoyable experience  :smirk: my friend took his first dose the other day, he also went paranoid, so be careful :crazy:

Cubensis is Cubensis. No potency difference except in the way they were grown.

your tolerance would need to be quite low to trip hard on just 30 wet grams. Takes me about 70-100 wet grams to give me a good, hard trip. for a first trip, take 16 wet grams each, your tolerance might be really low(lucky you)

Re. Mexican vs. Colombian cubensis: Why do they look different, and have a stronger effect, gram for gram? Can't seem to find answer on Google....
