Hello people, im a new user just registered. First off excellant site and secondly im about to enter the world of mushroom takin we have got 30g of Psilocybe Cubensis Hawaiian between the four of us, Wud 5g each sound sweet? and does any1 have any advice??? we r just gonna munch them raw and maybe wash them down with some orange juice. Im takin them in 2 hours time so if some1 can reply asap it wud be much appreciated!!!!

Welcome to the Shroomery. I take it they are dried? 5 grams may be a little too much if you are not experienced..Try 3-3.5.  :smile:

i say if its your first time, and the shrooms are dried, take 2.5 - 3 grams.

3 frams shouod do you just fine.

mj 5 would be equal to a Mazsatec ceremonial Dosage.

Take a relaxing 3 grams and drink it fown with some chocolate milk. The Aztecs served the shrooms to visiting digniteries with chocolate and/or honey

Personally my advice would be to err on the side of caution and aim for for the 2 gram mark. 5 grams is way more than you need on a first try! Of course it's different for everyone, a friend of mine got really drunk then ate shrooms like chips coz he thought they tasted good. Seriously. He had around 8 grams his first time and ended up having a fantastic night.

Cheers people, we ended up eating 30g between four of us, im in uni in Liverpool England but im from Belfast Ireland. Dont know what the law is in the U.S or Canada, but over here its legal to buy unprepared mushrooms, We just bought 30g of Psilocybe Cubensis Hawaiian and have such a nite, Just laughed at everything, Everything was funny, Next time we r buying some Panaeolus Tropicalis you get 5g of unprepared mushrooms for ?9.99 thats $16.50. Any ideas on how many we should munch of these. I have bein told that Panaeolus Tropicalis mushrooms are very very strong. GIGADEE GIGADEE.

Are those fresh grams. If so than 30 fresh grams is a single potent dose, but not a good enough dose for two people.

It takes one fresh opunce or 3-5 dried grams. I am assuming that this is a fresh dose. I have posted images here before of amsterdam one fresh ounce dosages packagesd for tourists.

Yeah its fresh grams, we were just gonna eat 2-5 grams of fresh Panaeolus Tropicalis mushrooms, Would that be an intense trip???
They said that between 2 and 3 grams gives u a good trip, wud they be talkin about if we dry them out? Also how potent are Panaeolus Tropicalis mushrooms. I was told they were very very potent but i cant find any info on them. Cheers for your help people

nooo... you see as they dry, they loose water, and loose weight. so let's say it would take a fresh ounce for you to trip, and lets pretend that an ounce is 8 shrooms. now if you dry them, they loose weight and lets say become 5gms dried. they are the same 8 shrooms, with the same drug in it. (ignoring chemical decay etc) when they are fresh they have a bunch of water in them causing them to weigh more, without being any more potent. thus when eating fresh ones, you have to assume a lot of the weight your eating is water, not mushroom material, and eat a higher weights worth. hope i made sense, i'm kinda stoned...

I read on the mushroom john website that 7-10 grams of fresh Panaeolus Tropicalis mushrooms (also known as Copelandia Tropicalis mushrooms) is for a good trip? Wud this be too strong or too weak for me, just gonna eat the mushrooms fresh!!!

By the way nice Picture under ur name!! IRELANDS BEST EXPORT!! I tried to use that calculator but im a new user so i have no idea how it works, basically its just fresh copelandia Tropicalis mushrooms and we want to reach level 3 or 4 level of a trip!!! How much wud i need?

ok, using the most potent mushroom listed, i played with the calculator thing. to aim for a level 3 trip with fresh mushrooms you would want to eat 14+ grams. for a level 4 trip, 21+ grams. keep in mind this is for fresh shrooms only. dried would be more like 2-3+ grams. and remember i was using the strongest mushroom listed.

I also have a picture of the Copelandia shrooms, they takle 7 to ten fresh mushrooms for a single dosage. Dried it would be from one to two grams depending on your tolerance.

Copelandia/Panaeolus cyanescens build up a qwuick tolerance in users who after a yar or so of srteady use require from 50 to 200 or more shrooms to get off. Yet that same amount would get 20 non-users really frier.

And by that I mean "WHAT A RIP-OFF!"

5 fresh grams of mush is only half a gram dried, which is barely threshold. Although for pans, it might get you rolling, who knows?
