Yea pretty much, they are all just different consistencies/textures of solvent extracts.

"Sauce" is another. Also "badder". And "Jam". And "diamonds" (tho that's usually just THCa crystals themselves)

The amount of terps an extract has plays a role in what the texture will be like, also how much of the THCa has formed crystals....I imagine there are various ways to produce a specific texture/consistency, temperature and time probably playing a big role just like when precipitating DMT in a solvent and growing crystals. I've heard some folks "whip" some extracts and this produces a certain texture, but I'm not sure what if any other benefits comes from "whipping" (?).


My favorite is a bunch of micro to small sized crystals suspended in a golden sauce . When ever the extracts I get have some chunks of THCa crystals I usually smash them anyway for a more homogenized material lol.

Stuff like this, this is actually the brand of live resin I've been getting lately (Cali tho), great flavor compared to some other "live resin" extracts I've had from other brands. This is what the stuff I've been working with lately looks like, with at least one little chunk of THCa crystal.>>>>
