Actually, that is EXACTLY what we're talking about.  The most lazy and unmotivated people are generally going to end up being the lowest wage earners and this entire discussion is about the idea that those people need to be paid more.

This is not true. Just because someone wants to have more of a life outside of a job they shouldn't be punished with the lowest wages a greedy multi billion dollar a year company pays. Maybe if people knew they could make a living wage with those jobs they wouldn't be as lazy. Maybe if they were made to feel important to the company by being compensated for making the company billions things could/would be better. Maybe there should be a way to get promoted to certain levels that are congruent with education levels and paid accordingly, but started at 20 bucks an hour to motivate, and even then if they don't motivate much, they still could get yearly raises in line with inflation. Some people don't find ANY kind of work meaningful and important, it's only a means to have shelter, food, and comfort.

People with actual mental or physical deficiencies should get help to live a comfortable life.

Laziness, entitlement, and a propensity toward making poor life decisions that "handicaps" one's life don't count as handicaps though

Everyone would be better off if we could all take a realistic look at ourselves and play to our strengths and have realistic expectations for ourselves.

I was homeless for 2 years, 3 years if you want to add all the time together. I was homeless because I couldn't afford rents and I couldn't afford rents because I had too much debt and I had too much debt because I had a fucking workplace injury back in 2015 that has prevented me from being able to work full time. The injury was in my hands so that basically limited me to a lot of things and a lot of things require your hands and you really don't even realize until you have a hand injury. I was never able to get housing assistance or anything other than food stamps and I had to lie in order to get the full amount. People like me who have a 120 IQ who are smart and have goals in their lives should not be fucking homeless. Social services should have gave me free housing and they should have actually fucking done something for me besides giving me food stamps like I can't go to a store and just steal my food anyway which is what I did a lot. My hands were so painful I could not even cut fruits, brushing my teeth was painful, masturbating was fucking painful.

Wow- way to be the Misogyny pro-

And the fact that you took so long to break my post down to that just might confirm my initial suspicions about your tone.

You sounded like a supremist, and perhaps ignorant.

There was this thing happening today. You might've heard about it.  They call it the super bowl...

I'm gambling on this solar stock ticker ASTI- they do solar in the arctic and stuff.

It's at .03 cents a share. It could be my ticket out of poverty level.

I only have 3000 shares, which is like 70-80 bucks worth. But it apparently might be big someday.

If poor people knew how easy it was to make a free stock trader account and put just $100 in they might get lucky. They might also loose it all.

Anyways. Carry on folks I'll join this arena soon.

Holy crap it went up like 76% today.

I CALLED IT!-

Can you believe people actually stand in line to buy scratch-off tickets?

I buy a lottery ticket every now and then. A dollar here, a few dollars there- my total lottery expenditure per year is prolly $200? I don't know. I've never won but to me- $200ish a year is worth it for the chance.

Also, nickles are almost worth their face value in melt value.

Nickles are the currency of the future.

Yes- and pennies- I JUST* now got a box of $25 pennies from the bank. I sort through them while watching movies and pick out the copper ones.

I have quite the collection of wheat pennies and even found 1 indian head.

Also- I look for errors... I found a 1999 WIde AM cent coin- sent it to PGS to be graded and authenticated- and then sold it on ebay for $400... it was MS 65+ I don't recall how high the MS was.

$400 for a penny that I got from the bank. LOL

I agree on the nickle thing too- but pennies are more lucrative because they are now worth TWICE face value.

Excuse me .....241.20% face value. Copper has gone up.

So now- a penny is worth 2.4 cents.

That's a damn good investment.

Pretty soon America will do away with the cent- and maybe even nickles and dimes- and when that happens it will be legal to melt them down- and by that point, each one could be worth 5 cents each- who knows.

Pennies are easier to recover copper than nickles, too, because there is only 5% zinc to get rid of.

But even the zinc pennies are worth almost .007 cents in metal value because of the price of zinc.

I guess, if you get a lot of pre-1982 pennies. They're worth 2.4 cents. post 1982 is worth 0.69 cents. A nickle is worth 5.27 cents.

Also, pennies are easy to turn into shotgun loads. So they've got that going for them.

Is there still a change shortage? I've got $2500 I'd like to convert to pennies and nickels.

Nope- at least not the bank I went to today.  THey said there was not a shortage and gladly gave me $25 in pennies.

And yes- I was talking about the pre 1982 95% copper ones, those are the ones I pick out and take the rest back to a coin machine that I pay 0% to use.

It's a good hobby to do when you're chilling -

Plus- it's pretty theft proof. $200 of pennies could weigh anywhere from 110 pound if all zinc @ 2.5 grams or 136 pounds if all copper.

here's the math- correct me if I'm wrong.

20,000 pre 1982 pennies at 3.1 grams each = 62000 grams/453.5= 136 POUNDS!

So yeah-= try stealing $200 of someone's copper pennies and most people couldn't even lift that.

The problem with pennies is you have to sort them. There is a ryedale machine but it's like $300

Why don’t you just get a job instead of arbitraging pennies.
