Well my little brother goes to sleep at 8pm...my mom sleeps at like 11 and my step dad goes to sleep at 10. I am usually left alone once I say goodnight and they know I stay up watching TV. I think I handle myself pretty well when tripping so it won't be that big of a problem but I'm getting over a really bad case of the Flu so if I do go nutty, I think my mom will think its from being sick. hehe.

i think that tripping alone is great. its a different trip than it is with friends. i love just laying in bed with hendrix or jefferson airplane playing, and having the lights shut off. it seems like you are kind of exploring, and that you are very emotionally tied to everything. i even started crying once, i cant remember why, but it wasnt out of sadness, it was just from realizing how beautiful a song i was listening to was or something. tripping alone is great.

I know how much you hate it when people disagree with you, AIF, , but it all works out to having different experiences. Most of my paranoia usually comes from the presense of other people in the situation, and tripping alone I am free from having to cater to other people's whims and egos. This is expecially true for me on shrooms, I can be a real bitch on shrooms when it comes to controlling the enviroment. If I need to get away from the T.V. or have the lights out or just have silence, I want it now. I'm a little more flexible on acid, acid treats me kinder and does not kick my ass like shrooms will, and everything seems much less sinister with LSD as compared to shrooms. I'm at the point now where I refuse to shroom with anyone present, because I get so bitchy.

As for what to do if you get scared, I play my very favorite mellow laid back album, Europe 72 by the Dead. Your choice might be different, music that is touching and beautiful and optimistic and not too insane. And just knowing that mushrooms cannot kill you is very comforting as well.

Yes, Perma was there when i was tripping. Let's just say, I had the time of my life. This was better than tripping with people. I always felt really self conscious when tripping around other people, and this time I could do anything I wanted. I tried everything I ever wanted to try. I sang to myself, I thought deep, I floated, and yes...I even cried in a beautiful build up of emotions.

This has been a trip that will never be forgotten - it had changed me so much already. I have learned so much and just now feel so at ease with myself. I was relaxing, I was hyper, I was emotional, I was everything - ah, just so much to describe!

I did however encounter a few talks with my mom throughout the night (even had to teach her how to put in a cartridge in the printer while i was peaking) but she didn't notice a thing and I actually felt very comfortable talking with her. I learned something about our relationship as well.

Magical I tell you, pure magic. Not at one time did I feel scared - it was all so perfect.

It wasn't supposed to come off as rude, but I guess I was being a wise ass. The little smiley thing was supposed to imply it was to be taken as a joke, I didn't include it to add insult to injury.. But I never told AIF that he was wrong, and even stressed that our experiences were merely different, and that is why our opinions differed. I didn't mean for it to be taken as a personal attack, I guess in my head it sounded like a friendly ribbing but on the screen it seemed I was being mean. I'm sorry for turning your thread ugly and all, but I'm glad you had a good time. Peace.
