Tripping alone

Who has tripped alone before? Would you reccomend it? I've never tripped completely by myself - and I was thinking about dropping two hits right now, but I'm not sure if i'll end up lonely and crazy! That and I'm all out of bud...

I definately want to explore the nuances of the trip, without the distraction from my buddies. Is it fun, boring, scary, or all three?

I've triped on mushies and cid with no problem alone.
Salvia kicked my ass alone but thats totaly diff.

depends, set and setting,and mood..Even then, the trip could take a turn for the worse, even if it starts up great. Who knows?

I've tripped many times by myself (acid, dxm, mushies) and found it fun as hell. It all depends on if you and how you deal with things. Cause IF you have a bad trip then you have no one to help you through it. I've had 1 bad trip alone but I just dealt with it and all was well but i've read many stories of people who couldnt.

i would recomen it!! one time i split like 50 or more wet grams up{like 12 mushroom}
with my friend and he went to bed claiming he didnt feel anything. so i stayed
up by myself and had the best trip i have ever had in my hole life.
i walked out side to this church and followed the road. the road soon
becaume bubbley and wavey....ect.ect. then later i wath the sun rize
o my god!!!!! i swear i saw god in the sun rize.....i could go into grater
detale but im lazy........so any way it was amazing and i came out of it more
mature and wise

so im glad my friend went to sleep

triping alone helps you get to knowyourself

on shrooms, i almost rather be alone. i find myself worrying too much about other people when i shroom. lsd, i like to party with others.

on the other hand i had another friend eat 14 yellowjellys yes 14
and some how he pulled throw by himself even thow he was temorarally
blind and crazy

14 Geltabs is not that much man... I've seen people eat tenstrips like they were single hits.

I used to love tripping on LSD at home, by myself, more than with friends.Especially ones i was uncomfortable around. But with shrooms, I seem to always kick my ass the whole entire trip if im alone, but if im with a really close friend (i have 2) it keeps my mind off of all the bad stuff ive done, and seen happen. I just get very introspective on mushrooms, much more so than acid. And shrooms give me a really uncomfortable body load.

I have some issues that I need to deal with, and whenever i trip on shrooms i just dwell on them. With acid I have always had a great time exploring my mind, and I can supress the emotions that come up to the surface when im shrooming, or accept the fact that I've made some mistakes in my life and made a fool of myself a few times.

For me i Prefer to be with others on an LSD trip. Theres something about LSD thats very personal, as though its you alone..if you get what i mean.  So its good to have other people around to keep me sane :smile:

but with mushrooms i prefer to be alone, i did 100 fresh liberty caps a couple of months ago and would have hated anyone to have been around to have seen me in that state.
i dunno...i never feel alone on shrooms, its as though everyone is with me.

ever wonder why so many bad trips involve god?
I had him very pissed off once. It actually scared the jesus christ out of me.
As it was stated by someone else I'm glad I was alone and no 1 saw me.
I'm also glad that it was a bad trip on salvia and ended in about 15-25 mins.
I think it could have sent me off the deep end if it would have lasted awhile.

most of the times i trip (acid or shrooms) i trip alone. i love doing it alone:-)

My most eventful and meaningful trips have been by my lonesome. I used to take LSD and sit in the dark in my room for hours. Let me tell you, those trips blow every trip I've had with other people out of the water. Hours in the dark by yourself gives you a lifetime to think to yourself. I learned the most from those trips and they still have an impact on my life years later. If I had never tripped alone, my view on psychedelics would be vastly different and for the worse in my opinion. I say try it because you have nothing to worry about...sure you might go crazy for a few hours, but you'll be back...you always come back. Peace and enjoy.

I love tripping alone. The only other person I am comfortable around while tripping is my girlfriend. Almost all of my friends are more extroverted when they are tripping than I am.

  I've ate some mushroom geltabs i made by myself just so I'd know how many to give to friends..it was real good, I prefer being alone on hallucenic's(sp)..Actualy now that I think about I prefer toking it alone to...I guess booze and coke and speed are what i like to do with friends... :grin:

Most of the time, having to interact with people can really mess up your trip or buzz. Its sometimes better to just trip alone.

On my first high end LSD experience I was not alone, and it started out with two close friends who took similiar amounts, later that night as I was letting go, and getting really out their, my friends told me some girl was trying to find out what I was experiencing, and I at that point was not in touch with reality. This un known person who was also tripping was too confrontational with me, something I obviously didnt need, and turned my best trip ever into the worst. Since then I wouldnt trip with anyone I didnt know. Subsecuently this caused me to have bad trips, until I figured out why.

I think everyone should spend some time alone. I would start out light if you have many skeletons in the closet or issues to deal with. I felt like I had to sort myself out before I could go to those deep recesses of my mind that I so love to explore on my own. You can really get to some wack places on your own. Like it was said, the most intense, beautiful, mind blowing experiences have been on solo flights.
