ordering to your hobby shop

A friend of mine was thinking of ordering some syringes to the place he does his thing at. Is it ok? He knows their legal. He's done a search and really can't find a diffinative answer on this. He just got tired of finding someone else to get them sent to there place.

Ordering syringes or prints or any grow equipment to the place where you actually do your growing isn't a great idea.

Spores are legal in all states except CA and GA, BUT... if someone knew you were getting legal syringes, and saw you go into a place where there is illegal mushrooms....  not good  :sad:

Get a Post Office box and have your things sent there.

but how would someone know? and who would be the someone to give other "someones" his information? and who said he'd be growing. he's really into microscopy of spores you know. Any vendors want to speak up on this issue?

I think he probably means a PO Box in somebody elses name. There would be little point if there was a paper trail back to your house.

except that its next to impossable to get a PO box under someone elses name.If you are simply using a friends then thats differant,but when you get one at the post office you need to show Photo ID and a current utility Bill with your current address.At least thats what I had to do.But I use mine for real buisness not for spores so I didnt care.

thanks for all the replies. but no ones given me a good answer on sending syringes to your place of study. There not illegal right? My buddy really wants to know. A p.o. box is really out of the question though.

from what i learned spores are legal in CA but its illegal to bring spores in to or distrubute with out permission i dont know about GA

and its not impossible to get a po box in some one elses name as insureance papers and a utility bill are all you need for id you dont need a picture id but im sure if you get cought that might be a fine or more and most spore vendors are very discreet

The correct announcation is, "I think SHE probably means.."  :grin: 

Get a PO box, use the information thats on your drivers license or state ID.  Its not the best thing to do but its the easiest way to get a PO box (a better way is to have someone else get it for you).

After 2-3 months, go back to the post office and ask to update your PO box information.  Its a VERY simple form, name and address thats all, then they update it. Most post offices will require you to update your PO box info once a year. 

Simply ask tell them that you've moved and you want to keep your information fresh :smile:  Thats when you give them fake info!!   

And yes, the less of a trail (physical or paper) you leave is always best.

Thanks for all the replies. But the reality is he's not going to get a p.o. box for a few syringes. That just would be a waste of time. I'm sure everyone that orders doesnt have theirs sent to a p.o.box. My buddy is looking for other methods. Hasnt anybody had stuff shipped to their house before? other ideas? What are his chances of having any trouble. He likes TLG and wants them from there, and has gotten them from there in the past before the shutdown. So boxtop whats your methods of shipping now? How about record keeping? Thanks everyone!!

either you have it shipped to your house,you get a PO box,or you ask a friend if it can be shipped to thier house.Thats about it.
if anyone ever did get in trouble,they certainly arent going to be in here posting.
TLG sends in a normal Priorty mail box that says nothing whatsoever about spores on the box.But none of the sponsors mark "Spores inside"on there boxes or anything either.They are all very discreet.

Not really, not to poke holes but the id numbers will guarantee you will take minutes to track down to your real address.

Im sure if the Fed govt opened your package and found syringes....you were probally screwed long ago....

There not gonna open your package unless there suspicious of you already...in that case you certainly shouldnt be growing...

a 5 year prison sentance is a waste of time... having spores sent to a grow op is a waste of time, there wouldnt be an issue if the legitimate purpose was simply for microscopic examination... a PO box isnt a waste of time when you consider what the penalties are for possession with intent to cultivate... this simply requires spores, birdseed and jars... you intent doesnt even have to be to cultivate thses items can be used for legitimate purposes but being at the same house is enough to be charged... it happens frequently in situations where someone is suspected of bomb making

so you weigh the facts... shipping to your home where you will be cultivating or to a PO box... if you have a friend that you can have them sent to you'll be in better shape, tell him its a gift for someone where you live and you dont want to ruin the suprise...

the only person he would trust lives in an apartment. He knows that the package wouldnt fit in the "apartment sized" mailbox. Its not that his lanlord would care shes an old lady and doesnt really give a shit what goes on. Is there someway he could ask TLG to ship it differently?

he could PM TLG and request it to be shipped differently... the better option for you sounds like spore prints as opposed to syringes... that or get a PO box for a little while... you really shouldnt have any kind of problem unless you are already under surveilance in which case its probably to late to just stop and expect it to go away...
