I think the beds in those vans are really dissapointing. I would replace it with something more comfortable or at least put a comfortable mattress on it.

I would put in two facing setee's that convert into 4 bunk beds when the backs are hinged-up and supported. This provides individual spaces for a family of four with the double bed option with the space between the setee's filled, like on some sailboats.

I don't think van interiors are designed with comfort or convenience in mind.

i've never had experience of actually sleeping on those beds, but have been in the vans...i like them a lot. They would be fun to have, they would be great to have on the road.

FUCK, don't remind me.... The fuel price's are definitly going to make me miss out on some things this summer. Might just have to head out to the Rockies and stay in a cabin after Bonnaroo.. Probably only make it to the National Rainbow Gathering after that one.

Conversion vans are great in general, it'll come in real handy if you're hard-up for rent! It aint for real though unless you park it down by the river....

Mum and us 3 kids went camping in a Bedford van thru scotland sometime in the sixties. It must have been cramped but I think we each had our own bunks.
I dunno tho...maybe I wouldn't have turned out so funny if we had all slept in one

Those are good vans, very reliable. Chevy's rock for travelling long distances and surviving winter and the such... But yeah it's gonna be like $50-$60 to fill that badboy this summer... or now for that matter, and gas certainly isnt gonna get cheaper

We use a MINIvan to tour, and that takes $40 these days
