Vinegar is a pretreatment so the waterbased print ink sticks to the fibers better.

Awesome!!  The tie dyes are definitely not as soft as the other T-shirts that are printed on Gildan SoftStyle or Bella Canvas bases, but they should soften up after a couple of washes for sure.  I'm really happy to hear that you like the print quality and fit, and yeah the smell is legit, but it'll go away after a wash. :lol:

All the T-shirts and non-zippered hoodies seem to be normal sizing.  The zippered American Apparel hoodies are slightly fitted, so if you're ordering one of those and are on the fence with sizing, I would size up because they can be a little snug if you're used to baggy clothing.  I'm 6'2" 175 lbs and I totally dig the large zippered hoodie, but it does feel more fitted and snug than some other large hoodies I own.  If I had really big arms, it would probably bug me, but I'm a skinny dude so it's all good.

Got the stuff, thanks! The zippered hoodie is really great. I am 6'3" 225lbs and I got an XL, glad I did, the Large would have been too fitted/tight I think. The XL can go over a sweatshirt and/or layers and still not too baggy.

I got the stash box today. It looks amazing, very classy. Much higher quality looking than I was expecting. It looks very fancy and shiny and nice. It did smell strongly like chemicals when I first opened it, but that's to be expected any time you buy a box type thing.

It's really nice for something made in china, kinda like 90% of the psychedelics I've consumed :smilingpuppy:

Yeah, I just had to.  After I got my pair, I didn't want anyone to be disappointed.  I also marked them down to a price where it's just a wash sale for us.  I love the idea, 'cause socks kinda fly under the radar or you cozy up with them at home, but I need to do more digging for a softer and more cozy offering to really get behind them.

We've had a few people order them, despite the disclaimer.  I'd love to hear what they think!

And yeah, tRex is right, the hoodies are top notch! :yesnod:

Not sure what happened with my shirt. I ordered a large and it says so on the tag but it's very small. Maybe a female shirt? I emailed to the admin address about a exchange or return but no response for several days. Ideas?

Hi Grimsweeper!  Perhaps something has gone awry with your spam settings and my response got kicked to an unwatched folder?  You sent an email to admin@mind-media.com regarding your order on Friday, 8/30 @ 4:04PM and I responded from mike@shroomery.org the next morning at 9:04AM (pacific time).  Following were my suggestions:

  • 21” chest measured one inch below the armhole
  • 27.5” body length measured from high point of shoulder from the back

If the measurements do fit the advertised description, I won’t be able to swap out the item but I can offer you a discount code on the order.  I am 6’2” 175lbs and I have one of the Smack31 Tie Dye I’s in black and it fits me like any large T-shirt typically does, so hopefully this was in fact a mislabeled shirt and we’ll get a fresh one out to you as soon as we can.  Just send over the measurements please so I can forward the images to the producer.

I also followed up with two other people who have ordered the Smack31 tie dyes, and they have also reported that the size was as expected, so it seems highly likely that there was an error in production with your order, but I'll need some evidence to show the company that makes this product, what the problem is, and I'm sure they'll send out a new one for you.

The coaster gave me this idea, and maybe it's not any good, but it's kinda funny so here it is:

Coaster coasters.

The exact same as this coaster, but with :coaster: in the middle. Because you know, coaster. He was like a shroomery classic, like an album from the beatles, but shroomery. Plus the idea of a coaster coaster is mildly amusing.

I mean, I guess we probably shouldn't because most users aren't going to understand or care, and it's probably totally wrong to put someone's face on a mass produced product without their consent and stuff, but... the idea did occur to me, and it was funny, so you're welcome. :cookiemonster:

When I had gotten my "cpde of morel s" shirt back in the day it had blue sleeves and white chest/waist area. I'll still get the normal tee shirt but I miss that design.
