Tips on finding these in the city limits?

Subdivisions/buisness parks would be my best suggestion. I keep away from the city. So I couldnt be of much help

I'm seeing all of the mentioned areas. I have a hundred different stops five days a week. The city is a bit overwhelming as far as the amount of places I get to see. For now trying to keep my eyes open.

Recently cleared/graded areas within the past couple years especially if they irragated it and keep the grass well watered is what youd want to keep in mind

Good tip. I can't wait for the peak season. I prefer my space out in the country. But Getting to hunt in an urban environment is pretty fun. I wonder what else I can find in the city?

All the houses we clear and grade for, if they have the right pine trees, and grasses. I bury stem butts and put spores out all over peoples yards. Even if I have no possiblity of coming back i still put spores out and hope theyll grow all over peoples yards.

Probably better used in a slurry and then added to a home mixture of manure, stable shavings and hay.

What should I search to learn more about this tek?

That’s the whole tek right there. Pour the slurry onto the manure, stable shavings and hay mix.

Sorry, still complete novice here. Would like to learn about the upkeep and subtle details that might be involved like how much area, weights/ratios, type of sunlight, water schedule and what have you. Haven't gotten in much research aside from hunting information

Wanted to share some of my find!

Found a whole ton of some Gymnopilus around Roswell. Have found some chanterelles and morels before but had never hunted for anything active and got, what I think is crazy lucky, on my first trip out. Here's just a few

Thanks again for help with verifying these DG

I'll be on the hunt for a little bit of everything. Hope to be sharing more soon

Got damn, spring must have been one fucked up drought for the weilii to only be popping just now. And yet, cubes are fruiting on wood chips. Thanks to the doc, I can see if they might like the acres of wood chips here in the bay. Long shot, but worst case scenario, my closet looks like a suitable cube habitat.

It's been too friggin dry round here. Had a rain the other morning. But when the sun scorched the earth to a hundred degrees it really didn't matter.

Very true, the pop ups just evaporate. Within 24hrs. Even if you got several inches.

The area in newton co. Im working in smells very heavily cucumber/farinaceous around this run off area, hoping to get to look around the bottom of this hill before we leave for the day

Been out at least 10 times to completely different spots with a similar vibe to NGH habitat thread and been skunked every time for the weiliis, but for some reason Gymnopilus is calling my name. I find them so frequently I don't even take pictures or document them...kinda annoying hahah

Decided I would post today's find for the hell of it.
Found growing out of a stump in some Bermuda grass under a few pines
