Um, the way you describe this you were in essence brain damaged by the drug, and your brain is rooting for a workaround.

Please stay away from MDMA type drugs and stimulants.

I recommend you eat plenty of protein that is rich in Tryptophan (milk products, turkey) and get some extra Omega 3's in you (like, take a small 5-10ml sip of flaxseed oil every morning with breakfast)

It sounds like you're fucked you may have several more months of recovering to do before your serotonin nerves are upregulated back to an appreciable level.

To augment the healing process you might take 0.25gr hawaiians once a week as a microdose, not cause it will get you particularly high but because it helps with getting your neurons fit.

Since you were "depressed" before, during and after, a brain scan might be prudent to see whether something is not up that causes this generalized decreased activity.

If you're a vegan, hit the vitamin pills first.

If you are super serious and want to do travel and a lot of personal work, it might be worth considering doing a dieta, which is a purification retreat that is generally associated with working with ayahuasca (but not necessarily). The healers work with lots of different medicinal herbs and are experts at restoring and purifying the human body

Thank you - I was actually thinking about going on a retreat to heal my depression - but then antidepressants came into my life .

I tried microdosing aswell as a LSD trip and shrooms trip before considering antidepressants. But my depression was so severe I think it didn't help. Probably if I increased my dosage back then and had someone to talk to (like in psychedelic therapy) it would have worked. But I can't say that now and it's in the past.

However I still want to try ayahuasca, from what I know some tried it for PSSD and got some results, although its not from the DMT compound itself I think. But I have to put more research into this.

Some guy on the PSSDforum said its because antidepressants downregulate the 5HT2A receptors. I have no knowledge of neuroscience or how this works so I'm writing in this forum.

Is there any way to upregulate my 5HT2A receptors so they become more pre-SSRI state? I think this could also help find a cure for PSSD. Thank you very much.

Take heart dude. It took me 5 months being clean of SSRIs before I could trip properly. But that still took 9g dry Liberty cap, almost 3x Liberty Cap heroic dose! But it was a good one
