DEVILS TOWER * 1

So we booked a trip to Devils Tower in Wyoming for the 4th of July weekend. Has anyone been there? What are the neat little places there off the beaten path? Planning on an LSD day trip maybe. The weather says it might in the 80's and 50's, perfect! Got an 88 buck a night rate at the Hilton near there.

I lived in Jackson for a year, been to Sheridan and Laramie. I missed Devil's Tower. :sad:

Yep, road trip. Its only 6 hours from us. Wed night through Sat night. Wow, just looked and we pass through sleepy hollow, lol.

Early July is the new moon so the star views will be mind-blowing with or without enhancements. Expect shooting stars, satellites, check NASA to see if the ISS will be in the area. There should be an really impressive view of the Milky Way after about 10PM (or when it gets dark there).

Ive heard that places with the word "Devil" in it have either paranormal activity or UFO activity.
