What is your favorite non PE strain of cubensis and why? * 1

a cube is a cube is a cube... right?

I have grown out like 60 varieties or something close at this point and there are definitely differences I've noticed, in phenotype and in performance.

What has been your favorite strain for...

Phenotype- Favorite looking strain

Cultivation performance- Fast to germinate, fast colonizer, throws lots of clusters etc...

Potency- What strain seems to knock your socks off time and time again?

Phenotype- Moby Dick. These mushrooms were prolific, had a beautiful leucism (with blueish tones), and are the only strain I've grown with yellow inner stipes. Gorgeous strain.

Cultivation Performance- Mars- this strain rips along, has nice canopies from MS, germinates quickly. More people should have at it.

Potency- I'm gonna have to go with Mars again here- always nice potency from MS. I honeslty havent sampled all of the varieties I've grown out though!

Honestly the stabilized ksss is one of my faves as far as performance I have had so many good and bad even with the same variety just different genetics .. mazatapec is always a bad ass performer and potency but this round I have had tons of dwarf fruits and before I went talking shit I ran tons of different variables... still had same results didnt see normal size fruits till the 3rd flush ..


I have been growing the lucy gt and same thing so far with ms I have had alot of crap and alot of descent grows potency is up and down but I have never grown a bunk shroom .. I have grown probably as many or more as you have ..


I would say ksss were my face so far

Overall, my favorite is African Transkei. For the looks and performance is pretty damn spot on. And the trips are amazing, definitely a spiritual aspect to them. I love em!

Second favorite is Mazateca.

Nice, I've seen a few people mention Transkei lately. Someone sent me a print so I think this is the next cube I'll try. Always down for a spiritual experience.

Highly recommended! I have a bunch of prints right now, Im excited to give some away in the Marketplace. I just love this strain so much. I feel like it was meant for me.

Well only a year and a half in so haven't grown to many verity's.
PESH/ B+/ Puerto Rican/ aztec god/ tidalwave/ rustywhyte/

Phenotype- Rusty whytes: love the nice white color and rusty spores and they really like to get around in the tub. They often dive bomb into what looks like a mushroom orgy. Really thick from top to bottom and effortless to harvest, just bumping the tub harvests em sometimes. :awesomenod:

Cultivation Performance- PES Hawaiian (PESH) I just love these, they are so reliable across the board from what I've experienced. Fast to germinate, colonize at a good pace but wouldn't say noticeably fast yet often rhizomorphic.
They stay anchored to the sub too well, I don't even bother trying to twist and pull and pull out the knife or scissors. The mycelium seems to be made of titanium alloy.
They are often tall, meaty and fruit in the worst of conditions. I would recommend them to a new grower; they seem to have hardy survivor genetics.

Potency- Kinda torn between Tidal wave and a Aztec God clone I've grown and recently revived back into the roster.
Tidal wave may be a disqualification because of the PE/B+ cross that isn't stable. :justdontknow:
Really loving the Tidal wave for potency and heavy gasoline on water like visuals but they are so unstable and often take forever to fruit or blob.  :oldman: 
The Aztec god clone is just fierce for it's trip to weight ratio.

Next on the list to try probably around fall is mazatapec. Always liked how they look and have heard many good things about them.

Ive only grown peu, b+, and Ecuador

They all have their pros and cons i guess but i like my b+ so far. They are in there 4th flush and still yeilding as much as the first flush. Ecuador produces beautiful big fruits but their is a big fall off in yeild from 2nd to 3rd flush. Penis envy uncut is potent but slow and pretty low yeilding compared to the other two. B+ wins but ecuador is nice too. I will have pes Amazon, golden teacher, and treasure coast ready for shoe boxes soon

3g of b+ takes me to an alien world with very strong visuals.

The left picture in my sig is b+. It forms really nice clusters on every cake

The other 3 pics in my sig are Ecuador from 2 shoeboxes. I have yet to take a proper trip from this batch, might dose 3g this weekend to test the potency

My favorite used to be nepal chitwan and mexican tuluum.
Anyone tried golden halo? I havent really seen much about them since hamloaf. I have a old print of golden halo but it doesnt have the halo. :shrug:
