P. semilanceata stem in cardboard

Will placing Psilocybe semilanceata stems between cardboard work to get mycelium growing? It works great with P. subaeruginosa and all over wood lovers I've tried, but I only have 2 P. Sem. stems so I'd rather not just have them rot away to nothing, especially since I seem to be getting little-to-no spores from their caps.

Also, if I do get mycelium growing, what's a good way to expand this and get it growing in my lawn? Any decent teks out there? Seems like there's not much info on growing or expanding P. sem.. I have a free-range rabbit that poops all over my lawn, so I figure it might be achievable!
