I bought a lego set a few years back. I didn't really enjoy it because the intructions are now meant for retards and makes it way too easy to build.  Plus all the peices were already sorted out of the box...

I donated it to a Christmas gift charity drive of some sort.

Id say that was a pretty good sale :thumbup:

They have some amazing lego kits out almost every year. There's a powered windmill one that my son really wants that he'll prob get for his bday. Kid has been getting legos since he was 2.5 years old when we made sure he wouldn't put them up his nose or try to eat them. He's almost 11 now and has a massive collection. They are the worst things to clean up tho.

I got back into legos when I had kids, they make all kinds of cool shit now especially the star wars theme. The bigger models you still have to hunt through the instructions to find all the pieces to add each step.
I was way into it for a couple years but now I'm kinda over it again. Still have the big y-wing ucs set sitting unbuilt in my closet...

I bought a shit ton(like $150 worth) of lego dimensions from craigslist for $40 a few months ago.....went to meet the guy and it was the damn sherif of the city lmao, good deal though :shrug:

I found some pretty cool Lego at the thrift store this week. At least 5 different sets mixed together. The biggest one is the Fire Nation ship from Last Airbender. It's huge, a foot and a half long. Lego has the instructions on their site but unfortunately the scans are not great and it's hard to see what's going on with any black bricks.

I wish I could afford Lego's. If Lego lowered their prices they would triple their sales, or more.

I wonder if anyone in my area is selling bootleg legos made from a 3D printer. I'm going to check craigslist.
