Energy Drinks

I consume at least 3 - 4 every day, along with coffee

Stuff like red bulls, relentless, Purdeys, V....

But my all time favourite is called "Mother". Unfortunately they only sell it in Australia

Yeah. I drank them as well and took preworkouts almost everyday before the gym and I had terrible heart problems. I quit caffeine and recovered somehow from that.

I’ve heard some bad shit about people who drink those consistently.  A bottle of caffiene pills cost the same as 2 of those drinks and you get 30 or so, so I just started popping those for awhile and kept my drinks to tea and whatnot.

It's not really the caffeine that's the major issue with them, it's the sugar.

Fkn insaaane amounts of sugar. A big can of one of those drinks contains ~50g of sugar. (about 1.8oz for the imperial measurement stalwarts)

Caffeine damage your heart veins. I took preworkouts almost daily for years and one day I felt very weak and my heart beat like crazy and I felt insane chest pain. This lasted like 10 days. Fish oil helped me a lot

No. And I didn't even tell anyone about it even though my brother is a doctor lol. I knew that it could be tachycardia/arrhythmia. I stopped taking anything with caffeine and took some aspirin protect and fish oil and healthy foods for the heart. Immediately when I took fish oil I didn't felt any chest pain but after a while it returned. I took like 3 capsules per day. I recovered in a month or so

Probably not the best combo, strenuous exercise and caffeine daily for years. 

Are you okay now? Is it just old history?

That happened in october last year. Yeah, I'm good. I can drink sometimes coca-cola/energy with no sides. I started working out last month and I'm shredded again so it's all good :lol:

I use to be a big energy drink/espresso drinker throughout the day on top of a half a pot of coffee to start my day I did that for a couple yrs until I developed pretty bad anxiety so I cut out all caffeine for awhile and now I only drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee tops in the morning and leave it at that after I stopped the anxiety eventually went away.
