Every time someone drags [something] down, I strengthen my empathic bond & knowledge of it.
    #25938086 -

When people rag on Muslims, I seek out a Surah from the Qu'ran or other fact on Muslim culture.

If people drag down African Americans, I seek out more about their point of view.

If I'm on some black forum and a bunch of guys take a dump on white people I seek out something wonderfully Nordic.

HATE! WILL NOT! DIVIDE US!
HATE! WILL NOT! DIVIDE US!

When people close their doors towards something I open my door towards it, even if its something I'm inclined to shun myself, like terroristm.

(sorry not going to post the worst kind of Nazi crap that I also examine with an open mind)

Keep an eye on the underdog, even at times when that underdog is clearly in the wrong. Something is happening, an unseen force that insists you to take sides, that insists on you closing your mind instead of keeping it open.

You don't have to take it to heart but you should be able to understand where its coming from.

In that which everybody shuns, wisdom can be found.

Be very careful that what you examine does not contaminate you though, like extremism, sexual deviants, criminals etc. Some things will stain you, scar you, rob you of your innocence.

Just because you wanbt to know Heroin doesnt mean you should ever EVER take it into your body - and don't do that ever! But learn about it with an open mind without getting contaminated.

Wisdom lies in finding out what makes the herd recoil in aversion, and then not recoiling but instead examining.  It will teach you something essential about the shunned thing, about the nature of the herd, a secret of the Universe and something big about YOU.

LEARN.

That is a big thing of what we are here on earth for.

LEARN.

but test them all; hold on to what is good,

I’ve been meaning to read up on the Qu’ran.  I have this basic brief understanding but I’ve never sat down and given it a fair amount of time.  I see how “christians” and mainstream folk butcher the bible so I can only assume it’s the same for the Qu’ran and there’s no telling what’s in there.  ‘Hard to find the time’...

The problem of our time is that every single thing is being lifted out of context and twisted out of its original context to support the case of whoever twists it their way.

This is how it can be that a church celebrating baby Jesus ends up covering up for child molestors.

Thats why you have a POTUS who outright denies the existence of climate change.

It wasn't meant to be this way.

The old paradigm is coming apart.

Every truth is twisted up to a lie.

The world is a battleground of the declining Old resisting the uprising New.

Make sure to jump ship and embrace the New when it emerges, or go down with the ship of the Old.

Its a Yin-Yang thing, the whole universe is.

If you can't get to reading it, listen at least to the translated Surahs on Youtube. Listen to some Nasheeds that aren't calls to war and listen to Love-Guided Muslim speakers preaching to their own choir like this one:

The ones guided by Love are the most right, because all religions agree that God is Love in its deepest form.

There you find the bridge to your heart and a higher understanding.

Try to drink from the source. Even with Nazism, listen to actual Hitler speeches that are correctly translated, knowing what we know now of his promises, the nature of propaganda and what actually happened.

Drink from the source, not the hearsay.

This world needs more people who are like "You know what: I may not agree with you and may obstruct you, but I feel in my heart where you are coming from and why it appeals to YOU."

I'll try to explain it rationally.

To feel empathy is to have the ability to identify with a person so completely that their point of view becomes an extension of your own, even if you don't agree with it you can feel why they feel that way, understand their thought and have a sense of identity and because of this a sense of forgiveness and peace with them being different from you. Their differentness no longer eludes your grasp.

It is like you can wear their reality-mask to as great an extent as your own masks that fit you best.

Its almost like you accrete them like a black hole accretes matter: you absorb their uniqueness into your Whole.

It is a satisfactory and at times difficult experience.

Muslim religion and their countries are barbaric. Other religions aren't much better. Religion is a scam to prey-on and control weak minded people. It's good to be positive unless you're being positive about something that should be discouraged like religion. We should be positive about science and not religion.

When I see someone talking bad about black people, asians, gays, or what have you I try to find out why because I find it interesting. They usually have a dumb reason with flawed logic.

What black forums do you frequent Asante? I don't know that I have ever been on a black forum before.
