I want to make a big (for me) purchase * 2
    #25839476 -

So I want a 20 gauss magnetico sleep pad for my twin size mattress, $1900 before shipping.

I see it as a health investment. I'm always getting less sleep than I need and people (including Jack Kruse, neurologist) claim it makes them sleep like a baby.

I should have the funds to pay for it in full soon enough. I think I'll save up an extra 4-600 then buy it. I don't have to pay a lot in rent. Basically if I have the money after I get through the 60 day probation at my new (union) job I think I should just buy it at full cost, but they offer a no interest 6 month payment plan. Would that be a better idea? what else do I need to consider?

If you want my honest opinion, if you sink that sum into a quality medical grade memory foam mattress, I think you will sleep a whole lot better than with this megnetic gizmo.

It sounds to me like quackery, though I havent seen any stories for or against it, but sleeping in a magnetic field has that zero point orgone generator ring to it.

I could move this topic to the Science forum if you'd like a bunch of sharp analytical minds examine the technokogy you are about to sink $2K into.

Shall I?

are you talking about sleeping on a PEMF pad?

are you looking for something of a low frequency so that you can sleep more soundly?

i get weekly treatments of PEMF....

and i enjoy being hit with a high intensity

when i get the coil taken off of me, i can still feel the vibrations for days, besides i  find i need different pulse frequencies for different parts of the body.

the body produces a vast range of frequencies.

can you change the frequency/intensity on it?

sometimes the body wants to accept certain frequencies, and ignore others.

hm... I trust the testimonials and there's (some) scientific info presented on their site (https://magneticosleep.com). I'm pretty sure it's worth it.

Here's the neurosurgeon that endorses them

I like a firm mattress and have one in good condition, already.

i have no doubt that the science behind pulsed elctro-magnetic frequencies is legit.

i have experienced it first hand.

however, you may want to consider the best way to get these frequencies may not be from a pads.

can you adjust all 3 - intensity? pulse rate? and wave form?

i really prefer the coil treatments, localized to specific parts of the body.

this is the machine that i use:

i guess it depends what you're looking to accomplish with it.

This looks a lot like pseudoscience with capitalism strings.  "Doctors" get paid to endorse products.  Just a quick google search seems to pull up all sorts of red flags.  IMO you are better off spending that same amount of cash on a nice mattress as Asante said.  This looks like new age bullshit being dressed up in science fiction.

Also I found a place that sells the twin for 1100 on the very first page.

well, shit. I can just buy one of the 10 gauss pads right now and see how it goes and if it's legit then get a booster pad later.
