Sara, get a dirt bike and get one for your son too so you guys can ride together. Getting a job is good advice too. It's good to show the kid that you need to work and contribute to society.

You could also use your free time to recruit your own roller derby team, then practice, and kick the other teams ass.

Not sure why you are giving Saratonin all this shit. There are much much worst parents out there. Neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse, divorces, etc....So Sara smokes weed and is raising a kid without having to work. The kid will be fine.

Im honestly really surprised as to how some of you are seeing this. You can be apathetic towards it and have no obligation to care about how she parents at all, but defending her home life is honestly no less than dangerous. Yeah logical, she doesn't fucking abuse and molest her child. Nice first step lol. Is that the only time when parenting isn't ideal? When the kids gets abused? As long as the kid doesn't get beat and raped everyday, the parenting style warrants no discussion or scrutiny?

Ya'll should really watch what kinda enabling you're doing. Really think about it.

How much does she need to change herelf to be like you before her life is acceptable?

Why don't you just use violence litigation and social pressure to stomp out anything you don't understand? That whay you can lay in bed at night with the comfort that anyone different than you will be punished for it.

How about she becomes a work addicted beer swilling, ulcer ridden tradition enabler? She could drag her kid to the Christian pedophile church every sunday! Then she can be an honorary baby boomer, one of the good guys...

Like I said, if you don't care how her kid gets raised, then fine. Don't defend her home life. Don't try and shut down criticism towards the info she proudly displays.

Sara, I really hate to pull this card, but have you noticed that any post even vaguely criticizing the parenting style automatically gets fat stacks of upvotes? Notice how pointing out the flaws in it has remained a popular topic of discussion in multiple threads for awhile now? This is not an unpopular opinion. Just consider it.

No one here knows exactly what you and your kid do. But we care about how that kid is raised and don't want to see you make very obvious and common mistakes that could be easily corrected if you just would take your fingers out of your ears. None of us know it all about raising kids. But I will tell you that you certainly do not either. Take some harsh advice every once and while. No one wants to be told they could raise their kid better, that's just horrible. But sometimes it's true. Hey, most of the time it's fuckin true. And in this case, it is glaringly obvious. For the happiness of both YOURSELF and the prosperity of your child, please, for real, just be more open to shit you don't wanna hear. This is important shit you're dealing with.

I have to side with Near Dylan here.

Its not about the weed. No one is saying one shouldn't use any cannabis as a parent. Stating thats all you do everyday is concerning.

Literally every mother I know (and I know quite a few) is struggling to get one, maybe two useful things done during the day with a kid in the house. Being a stay-at-home parent is a full-time job. Its fucking hard man, I couldn't do it. Glad I can escape to the office.

How one would combine that with the stoner TV lifestyle is beyond me. At that age they basically require constant attention
