Here's some update photos as usual. I haven't misted since yesterday night, there's plenty of water droplets still so I'll let it go for now.

Looking decent, let it nearly dry completely before misting again

Haha yes I love it! I've even got a pin that decided to pop up on a strand of coir. Doubt that'll continue to grow like that but I laughed seeing that little guy

Here's a picture of the little guy, it's actually not touching the surface at all. Hard to take a picture showing it clearly but here's the best shot I got. You can see it at the top middle of the picture.

It may keep growing and just lay down on the surface: you'd be surprised at how little mycelial networking can support healthy growth... congrats on fruit either way...

Oh awesome I want all the pins I can get! Yeah the mycelium is now extending out underneath kinda creating a little fluffy surface for it to continue to grow on. Thank you I'm ecstatic I didn't think I could actually grow these first try! I'll keep the updates coming, thanks again for all your wisdom

Here's some update photos. Is it normal for my pins to start out lopsided? They seem to all have started out like that other than one that has been going straight up since the day it popped up.

As long as they're not lying down, I wouldn't worry too much... looks good to me... may be leaning to make room for clusters... either way,  gravity will straighten them out as they gain height

Some update pictures, still a little dry around the edges I've been lightly misting the edges once a day. The center is getting drops of water from my lid so that's got plenty of beads of water. I somehow have an upside down pin, not sure if that started growing and then fell or what, but its clearly upside down.

Can you spot the upside down pin in the picture below?

Some more update pictures, lightly misted today. Upside down pin is still growing good lol, cant wait to see how that turns out. Pins are starting to pop up in the empty spaces which is great hopefully the whole surface starts growing great.

So I wasn't able to be home for a few days and misted my monotub and let it sit for a few days. Here is what I came home to! Should I start harvesting just the ones with their veils broken as I read somewhere that they start to lose potency. Should I be concerned with spores dropping, will that change my chance of having multiple flushes after? I also purchased a presto digital electric dehydrator, any clue what temp and how long I should run it to dry them out? I'm going to try and make clones using agar of the monster ones whenever I harvest them. I plan to just cut them at the base leaving some behind so they can grow back. I'm excited but scared as I do not know if I should harvest the big ones and leave the little ones or what! Also are these the regular height they seem kinda short from what I've seen but these are also from a spore syringe not agar.

I decided to harvest all the mushrooms with their veil either broken or about to break. I cloned the two best looking ones to agar in my SAB so hopefully that turns out good. Here's a picture of what I've harvested so far which is probably 1/3 of the mushrooms. They're not the biggest and all seem to be about the same size. I have them in my dehydrator at 160f going for 6 hours seeing how that works out as I read they dont lose their potency under 250f. I've only had to pick out one abort so far and that sucker was small. The upside down mushroom is still growing great and is actually the tallest one lol.

I do 165F for 24 hours and no discernible loss... in fact, studies suggest that heat destroys enzymes inside the fruit that oxidize psilocybin and psilocin over time, and is beneficial for long term storage

Nice little pull!

Just woke up had them going for 6 hours in mine at 160 only had 3 trays full. I took them out and they're cracker dry but the veil on some of them is still flimsy but the mushroom itself is dry as fuck. Should I stick those back in or should they be fine? Oh and weighed out to 15g dry good for the first couple.

Second little harvest of the ready ones pretty much the same amount from yesterday. Got them going in the dehydrator for 6 hours again.

I'd go 24 hours regardless... can't get them too dry, and 24 hours won't damage potency

The second batch just finished in 5 hours and are cracker dry... veils still are the same flimsy and present. I'll stick them all back in tonight and let them go for another 12 hours. Second batch is 10g dry, and I purchased a pill press so I definitely want the veils to be dry as fuck. My substrate has shrunk a bunch its no longer pressed against the walls of my tub and my liner has shrunk with it. How long do you suggest I dunk for the second flush or should I wait till my 3rd to dunk?

1-2 hours... shrinking is typical... liners are unnecessary and a PITA IMO... They don't prevent side pins, proper surface conditions do
