What's the point? * 1

To your life; to your existence here in this crazy world?

What's the best you've been able to conclude, thus far? If nothing, what's your guess?

For me, recently emerged from utter hopelessness and despair, it has been a life raft for me to define this as best I can.

And the best I can come up with is simply to exist; to be human, a whole human, to experience the condition as wholly and fully as possible, and to be as kind and compassionate towards others as I can possibly be.

In the immortal words of Sheekle; HBU (how about you)?

Great topic.

From my research into psychic knowledge and UFOlogy, Ive learned that the spirit chooses who it wants to incarinate into. I dont know if the spirit knows the future of that individual or what, but it seems to know some background info on the parents and location.

The point of life? A complex spiritual test as well as a third dimensional experience of Free Will mixed with some Forth Dimensional experiences (dreams, psychedelics, OBE, NDE). Thats my best guess.

It seems to me, that the older I get, the harder it is to get up in the morning with gusto! The longer one lives, the more bullshit one is exposed to. How do I deal with it? Pretty much what you posted above. I love this crazy world but I hate it at the same time. What keeps me going is the desire to keep growing and evolving and to make my little corner of the world a better place. I have learned over the years that it is the little things in life (that many don't slow down enough to notice) that makes living worth living.

Ive read u can communicate with your soul with enough mediatation proficiency. Havent reached anywhere near that but its a wild goal to work toward.

The first step is Loving yourself. Next step is spreading that love to other people and other things. Thats my understanding of how its "supposed" to work.

Before my kids and future wife, or with hypothetically removing them from the equation when answering this question...

I dont really feel I have a purpose or bring any real value to the world.  Few people actually do.  Most of us are here, simply existing...consuming, shitting and sleeping.  While all being too aware of it to be at peace with it.  The majority of the world suffering from one mental illness or another.

There is no real point.  We were all born out of a biological need to fuck.

That's not to say that now, with knowing all that, that you cant make the best of it and treat your life as a gift.  That's probably the best advice with dealing with the aforementioned hand dealt.


Bring my kids back into the equation...

It's all mostly biological in nature I imagine, but the point of my life now is to love, care, protect and nurture them until they dont need that from me anymore.  It drives my every thought and action.  Its my purpose now

When they are grown up...I have no fucking clue. :lol:  I'll go back to being lost and void of purpose I suppose

Why do we all look forward to a good nights sleep? Are we not looking to go back home to 'the source', to 'god', to wherever it is we all came from? Just because we blackout and don't remember in those moments, a poor night's sleep depends on crazy nightmares and disrupted sleep, while a good night's sleep is always dreamless. Are we not seeking the dreamless state? And maybe that dreamless state is not a 'blackout', but rather a state in which we are not yet evolved enough to perceive -a state of bliss, heaven, nirvana call it what you will...

Don't feel bad,
the gif showed up a lot online back when Canada legalized
but it is sourced off a German youtube show with less than 200 000 views on the video
the gif is likely more well known than the source :lol:

RE: logical ( again). My last post got cut-off mid post for some reason. I believe tranquil dreams are below the dreamless state because the dreamless state is always there, unchanging -yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. IMO, the dreamless state is not a void, but rather the source of everything. My personal belief system is Advaita Vedanta. No time or space to get into it here, but google is just a few keystrokes away. I wish you the best !
