Trump is the only one for the time being because he’s the only one making any demands.

I do think if he offered permanent resident status to anyone brought into the US as a minor, then then Pelosi should take the offer. She should also demand the government open before any congressional action.

In the long run, the government would eventually be reopened by veto override. Idk when that is.

I kinda think we are reaching a tipping point where people who provide services like airport security, air traffic controllers, etc are going to just start bailing on the jobs. I think TSA people should strike. It’s technically illegal, but the government is not in a position fire them. It takes months to train new TSA and they wouldn’t be able to refill the positions anyways. A TSA strike would end the shutdown immediately. Even the threat of a strike would likely work.
