naming your kiddo

If you had any kids did you get to name them and if so what?

I'll go first.

I have a daughter. Me and her mom was going to name her Emily but I decided Breeze was a better name than Emily.

They call me the Breeze...


I don't think I ever paid any attention to that song until my dad started singing it to my daughter.

Man I miss him.

I hope heaven is real. I sure do wanna see him again

I named my son, chose “Roland”.  It’s my grandfather’s name.  My sister named her kids after family members too, and my sister and I are named for family.  It’s a tradition, I guess.

I will have a son in a couple months and I haven't picked a name yet. My wife likes different names than I do. We have it narrowed down to like 10 names right now, but it will probably end up being something that isn't even on that list. I suggested the name Burke, but I don't if my wife liked it. I also suggested Sheekle, lol. I think it's easier to name a girl.

I have a tortoise that is named Carl and a cat that I name Meatball.

I named my second born. I chose the first name Lyla, because I thought it was a beautiful name. I chose the middle name Kay after my moms middle name because she allways said if I ever named a kid after her she would beat my ass. I think I may have gotten a pass because I used her middle name instead of her first name.      Im still waiting for my ass-whoopin!

Idk my name is differnt and sometimes people would call me names that sound similar to my name and it didnt really bother me. This girl that moved to my school due to hurricane Katrina called me kitten.

The nickname my dads friend gave me, Pumpjack, bothered me when I was a child. Now I kinda like it but now nobody calls me it anymore.


Naming your kid, Isis, now I can see where that could cause issues.
