Those are heavenly blues (most likely)... flying saucers are mostly white with stripes of purple making a spinning like pattern.  Nice pics.

I'm pretty sure they're not Heavenly Blue. I remember planting the blues for a couple of years and they never had the stipes of colour coming outwards like that. I'm pretty sure they're flying saucers... maybe they're pearly gates. I think I have some nice pics of crimson ramblers too.

Gee, I don't remember. 6 weeks maybe. Usually I plant them, they don't seem to sprout. I get possible vines confused with the mess of other plants in the garden then one morning I wake up and behold the glory.

I was under the impression flying saucers were a mixture of blue and white also, though I could be wrong, heavenly blues will get a purple to pinkish stripe like that before closing up....though I'm not sure those are heavenly blues.

My other heavenly blues did look similar when I compare pictures, maybe I'm wrong. I had it in my head that these were not heavenly blues. The stripes seem too intense. The only way to tell will be to grow more. Crimson rambler are pretty cool.

they both are so closely colored it could be very hard to tell...

heres a pic of both .. not mine... random internet source. I will post mine when they get pretty

saucer

blues

the heavenly blues tend to be a little more darker on color with smaller stripes.... and the saucers tend to have wider stripes.

hope that helps
