Growing up, Every family Christmas was literally a mix of Christmas vacation and a Christmas story. Too many lights too much alcohol always a fight (always),drama and upset. Fun but

Family Christmas now - Whole family here in house. No fights (too stoned). Presents wrapped and under tree. Kids and grandkids asleep. I'm going to make some cookies, Take ~220ug white on white and wait for the grandkids to get up. Much more relaxing now.    It's a beautiful morning.

Merry Christmas Patal

Sacrifice puppies at dawn. Then start cooking the turkey. Which is like WTF bitch, we just had a gotdamn turkey a fucking month ago. Then we act all fake and shit like we actually like each other and "catch up" like "how's work going and stuff?"

Of course any genuine answers about one's life is ignored while we (fake nod like we can actually register or care what they're saying) sip (chug) whatever choice of alcoholic beverage we have in front of us at the moment. And then get up every 20 minutes to go to the fridge or the cooler(s) for more (adult) beverages for the next 8 hours.

Then we eat, let the children witness the puppy carcasses get buried, maybe play a round of Monopoly and then kick back and watch Die Hard and call it a night.

Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Holidays.

That's actually not that bad at all. No guns were involved, no one went to jail and only the puppies died.

My girl would have to wake me up. She acts as if my pressure cooker could explode at any given second .

The flounder turned out great as usual. My girl said she's never seen me cover the stove top in so much cooking oil lol. I could barely stand last night and was obviously sloppy flipping the flounder filets.
