police dogs: they can detect pot... but what about hash?

drug dogs are trained to mainly search for:

marijuana
cocaine
heroin
firearms

so... as far as marijuana goes, if it is the THC molecule that the dogs are detecting, then they sure as hell can find hash. but, if it's some other molecule in the leaves or something that they smell then hash would be a lot lower risk right? just curious

I'm pretty damned sure (99.00 percent) that they can smell hash. Drug dogs find it at the borders alot, anyways.

Hash is more or less marijuana, just with a process to refine it. If anything the dogs will find it faster than regular bud.
