King oyster lc >woodchip success?
    #25639276 -

Ive seen were this was done by diluting the lc an spraying it on wood chips with ps.cyan.

How good of a success rate do i have for outdoor chip beds in cold moist conditions.

Im making the lc now!

I think it would be hard for the myc to grip to the chips, specially if hard rain falls after droping it, it could be leached out to deep on the ground.

Recently I used two old LC jars (Panellus stipticus and Stropharia rugoso-annulata) to hydrate some hardwood fuel pellets. I calculated how many pellets would be necessary to get 65% moisture with the volume of LC of each species I had. I put the pellets on ziplock bags and dump the old LCs in the bags. Then I dropped the bags on the ground on a dirty and cold garage. Let's see how they do after some time. If it works, the colonized sawdust could be used to make more untreated sawdust spawn (as long you incubate in cold temps), and then the right thing to do would be to inoculate chips with it.
