Scroll Bar Screwed

When viewing text while editing or creating a post there is a scroll bar to the side of the text to be created/altered. The arrows at the top and bottom of this bar are supposed to scroll the text one line at a time, or continuously from the cursor point in the text.

However, anytime one of these arrows is pressed, the cursor is moved to the bottom of the text and will not scroll one line at a time. This makes it extremely difficult to review text.

Anyway, it pisses me off. Can it be fixed? It did not used to behave this way. Perhaps a time-out is in order.

Mine did that for awhile. However after a reformat (for a completely different reason) it no longer does, leading me to realize the problem was at my end.

While I wouldn't know how to fix your problem, might I suggest you use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate through your post for proofing?  That's what I do, and while i still run into the instance you describe from time to time, the arrow keys are godly :tongue2:

Yep it happens to me. When you press down it jumps to the bottom. When I push the up button it doesn't go back up, it just stays at the bottom.

If you're talking about the text box in a form, then I just place my cursor in the text box with a click, and then use the up and down arrow keys to move around in the text box...
