I'm having the same problem.

My disclaimer in this post has no red in it, yet I cut and pasted the exact code I used in this post which is showing red.

Why does this happen?

I see them in mozilla fine.

But about the color issue, I haven't been able to properly use the color code recently even in posts. I would even use the shortcut button and type my text between the pregiven tags but it didn't work.
