Organic Heavenly Blue off the gardening shop.
    #25581740 -

I am curious to try LSA, would it be ok to eat the seeds off any gardening shop?? Morning Glory (Organic Heavenly Blue).
Are they ok for consumption? (I read something about toxic salts?) but I am not sure as I possess little to no knowledge on the matter.

thanks

I'm not sure about the toxicity of the compounds found naturally in the seeds but I do know that the seeds you buy from the store are coated in a substance which will make you very ill and puke it all up if you try to eat them straight out of the packaging. This is because most governments would rather poison you than let you get high. Go figure. You will need to grow and harvest them yourself if you are planning to consume them.

Thank you for answering my question, the hypocrisy of our government is truly outstanding.
Unfortunately I have no space to harvest as I live in a tiny flat but I hope I can buy seeds ready for consumption online somewhere.
Thanks Again

Is that actually true or just a silly rumour repeated over and over until it gets accepted as real?

I can understand them being coated in a fungicide to encourage successful germination but seriously is the government coating morning glory seeds to prevent would-be trippers?? I struggle to believe this.

It's a rumor if nothing else. Burpee brand seeds (commonly sold at WalMart) are never treated, and can be used for entheogenic purposes.

Thanks for that, I'm new to this and I know nothing.
So, it may be a rumor but lets suppose they were (just to be safe) do you think soaking them on water and leaving them over night would get rid of the possible subtansces applied??  Thanks

The government doesn't soak them in poison. That rumour comes from some seriously paranoid people. But they could have a fungicide on them. If you're wanting morning glory seeds there are plenty of organic sources online. Or buy Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds..they contain more LSA than morning glory so you only need to eat 6-10 compared to like 200-400+. However HBW seeds can have a whole host of horrible side effects which include a hell of a lot of vomiting. Although you'd get a lot of vomiting from morning glory too. High doses of HBW seeds can turn limbs blue/cause serious cramping due to serious vasoconstriction I believe but I can't be arsed to google it.

Listen I'm going to give you some good advice; don't bother pursuing seeds if you want to trip. It's NOT worth it. It involves so many side effects and so much nausea and the 'trip' if you can even call it that isn't even enjoyable or barely so. I rarely hear of anybody enjoying it although infrequently some do. It's usually the inexperienced tripper/kids/youth that go for seeds because they're relatively easy to access, legal, cheap.

It's a horrible way to introduce yourself to psychedelic drugs and it will give you a horribly wrong impression of what psychedelics are all about. You're more likely to just make yourself ill and clock watch the entire duration of it regretting having swallowed them and wishing it was all over.

If you're not a kid and of sound mind then pursue real psychedelics.

LSD can be easier to handle for people but it can last like 12 hours and it's hard to come by although you can purchase 1p-LSD online easily as a legal apparent pro-drug of LSD, so it has pretty much identical effects.

Mushrooms can be more of a head fuck for people, although I find total clarity on mushrooms, but they last half the time of LSD. Mushrooms are totally beautiful. If you can't find them then teach yourself how to grow your own, it's relatively easy to do and the cultivation forum is an endless treasure trove of information if you use the search function. Alternatively buy a simple grow kit.

Research your dose properly, pay attention to set and setting, stay educated and stay safe.

Good luck.

I disagree somewhat. I've always found LSA to be a great place for inexperienced trippers to start with. It gives one the general headspace, mental changes, and other feelings of the psychedelic experience, while not being too intense. Vasoconstriction can be an issue at heroic doses; but who's taking heroic doses of morning glories?

You never know with inexperienced kids they do all kinds of stupid stuff. Although the username suggests this person is 28 I just noticed. Good luck whatever you do.

I adore Argyreia nervosa, and I really wanna try Turbina corymbosa sometime. But yeah, here's the deal - on mushrooms you feel totally comfortable compared to Argyreia nervosa, it's because it's actually quite poisonous. And mushrooms are not poisonous. But I personally still really enjoy the different type of visuals from the seeds and the poison is part of the experience. But if you just want a comfortable trip and not be in agony for a couple of days then you should probably eat some mushrooms.

If you're still interested just eat 4-5 Argyreia nervosa seeds and sit in darkness and comfortable, and don't worry about the pain you feel too much, it'll go away eventually.

If you reallllly wanna go for morning glories, you better prepare to have a difficult time getting that amount of seeds down.

Well technically psilocybin is a poison. Fungi made it for that purpose. Issue is, it mixes perfectly with human pharmacology, so the humble little psilocybe can't protect itself from humans.

Same thing goes with all of the ergot alkaloid containing members of the Convulcaceae family. It's poisonous, true. But that poison really just doesn't do what it's intended to do. Also, I'm not sure what you're talking about when you mention "[being] in agony for a couple of days. From my experience with morning glories, after about five or six hours it entirely wears off.

"And the baby woodrose even more so be very careful with the hawaiian baby woodrose because it contains cardioactive glycosides. Maybe 6 seeds will do you, 12 seeds might well plant you." - Terrence McKenna

The poison takes longer to wear off than the trip, like the trip could last 8 hours then the poison effects may last up to 14+ hours.

Now compare that with mushrooms where you don't die if you eat too many. But it's fine if you know what you're doing. It's not the poison that causes the trip from Argyreia nervosa. It's not harmfully poisonous long term at the correct dose in my experience. I dare to argue that it builds up your body's resistance and strength for it is medicin after all. And the spirit in the plant seems quite alright, nice conversations. Also I dunno I guess morning glories are less body load? I dunno. I'm more interested in trying Turbina corymbosa though.

Alright, I have an idea of what you're talking about. I was referring to the morning glory experience in general. IIRC Ipomoea tricolour doesn't contain any poisonous compounds except for ergot alkaloids. As much as Arygeria nervosa is recommended, seems like it wouldn't be smart to use.

Turbina corymbosa, from what I've heard, is just like Ipomoea tricolour but a little bit more potent.
