Put hydrogen peroxide in my ear and now my ear hurts bad as fuck

Mainly want to know and hoping this will fix itself, it's been a few hours and it hurts bad as fuck, having a hard time sleeping and a bit worried.

Read it can help cure colds and it just made my right ear hurt bad as fuck.

Maybe there was ear damage from before or I did it wrong whatever.

But only my right ear hurts, pretty bad.

Will this shit go away on its own?

Tips to relieve pain and pressure?

Man I have been miserably sick lately now this...

u might have irradiated the ear and or may have an infection cuz of u were sick b4. u might wanna go to a doctor if its really bad. hopefully u didnt mess up ur ear drum its not really good to put peroxide in your ear. hope it feels better :[

If you have built up wax then the peroxide can get behind it and bubble up creating pressure on your ear drum and could blow it out. Maybe you could lightly q-tip the moisture out? or get an ear wax candle

Ear candles are bullshit hippy pseudoscience. This guy should take a warm shower and let the water rinse his ear out, and go to the doctor.

Yeah peroxide should not go in your ear. It will cause physical damage to tissue by releasing oxygen gas which will burst cells. Wash out the ear. It will probably hurt for a while but I doubt you did serious damage. Burns are usually superficial.

Its pseudoscience garbage where a you put a candle on your ear and it has a hole going through it and supposedly the light pressure from the heat pulling air through it sucks crap out of your ear.  It's been debunked many times by science.

As others have said, you really shouldn't be sticking shit into your ears.  Warm water is ok but never under pressure, i.e. don't use a bulb to shoot it in.  Peroxide is just asking for trouble.

Ha, is this what happens. I've never used one. I thought the candle wax would just drip in and soak up the ear wax.

I do use q-tips everyday and multiple times a day. I love the feeling of clean ears

i wouldnt reccomend washing the ear with water the reason it feels like theres a ton of liquid in there is cuz its likely swollen and inflamed. u want to keep it as clean and dry as possible as a warm wet inflammed ear canal is a ripe place for infection to take hold. witch hazel prob wouldnt do much either way. if u have alot of discharge u likely have an outter ear infection. if u wanna try a warm compress like a hot water bottle to relieve pain and help drain the ear it would prob help but def wanna dry it out. maybe some nsaid pain relievers to bring down the swelling and inflammation and reduce the pain. also dont ever put qtips in your ears for any reason ever.
