Now now people. It can feel less appealing to read with no punctuation or paragraphs but there's absolutely no need to be rude to him. The guy is being nice and engaging in conversation so why would you want to put him down? If you don't like it don't read it and move on. Or be more polite about it. I'm sure you're able to actually understand what he's saying so it's hardly a big problem.

Sometimes I don't understand how people that take psychedelics can be so unnecessarily rude to people, because psychedelics have made me the happiest and most chilled person and they've changed me in that respect.

LincolnCityTripper I'm so confused by how your friend is able to function. Surely tolerance and experience plays an enormous factor, but tolerance should be gone after two weeks! I trip once a week and my tolerance feels totally gone after one week. With mushrooms anyway. With LSD the tolerance seems to last a very long time!

Thank you man i dont understand people my self sometimes? Just to put people down like in the rude way that he did is just unnecessary in my opinion. He could have easily told me that in a much nicer way that wasn't so insulting but what ever im not gonna let that ruin my day.

Anyway yeah its just years and years of doing these massive doses for my buddy and hes one of those guys who is a complete hard head, like it has to be over the top every time or hes not satisfied.
How he manages to communicate, walk around smoke weed, deal with his cell phone etc i do not know?
It baffles my mind because if i were to take that kind of dose which i never would in the first place lol i would be completely blacked out, unable to communicate or move at all lol but he somehow manages and very well at that.

He has had a couple times where it got way to much for him and he was curled up in the fetal position with the look of complete terror on his face telling me he thought he over did it this time lol
Last year he did 10 blue pyramid gel tabs with 5 grams of Psilocybe Cyanescens which im sure you know are quite a bit more potent than cubensis and that completely floored his ass but only for a couple hours and he was back to normal ready to go have fun. Again im not exactly sure how he manages these doses but long term tolerance and just having done these type of doses so many times i think hes kond of adjusted to it some what.

Hes a great guy though and truly lives the psychedelic life style to the max and im so greatful to have met him here on the shroomery.
He is by far probably my best friend and its so great to be able to have friends like that who are on the same level of appreciation of psychedelics and the whole lifestyle and to be able to share these experiences and talk about them so deeply.

Damn that is a crazy lookin mutation bro! My homie who grows PEs also had some pretty funky lookin mutations like that as well but that one there is a heavy son of abitch! Nice work! :thumbup:

Thanks LCT! Sometimes they blob, sometimes they look like a classic cube and sometimes they look like a "normal" PE. They are always potent AF IMO. Versus any other variety of cube.

Yeah for sure man :thumbup: they are definitely more potent than your average run of the mill cubensis and there can be some really strange looking mutations with PEs.

The part when you said about when he curled up and stared in terror and said 'I think I over-did it' made me actually laugh at loud haha.

You two sound like good fun! I'd love to have a friend that could handle their psychedelics and enjoy it as much as I do. I have a friend that has recently started using them but he's still navigating the headspace and he's still prone to difficult experiences. I really hope he finds the same sort of beauty and fun that I do in them! He handled 6 grams for his first time relatively well under my supervision but I should never have allowed that to happen for his first time!!! I had to give him an antipsychotic in the end to stop his trip oops haha.

But yeah you two sound good fun I hope to see you and your friend posting on the boards so I can keep up to date on your crazy adventures haha :smile:

What a beautifully strange blob! It's a nice weight but in honesty I expected it to weigh quite a lot more because of the density!

But still...seeing that picture and hearing what everyone has said about PE varieties has made me super excited to work with them.

Be patient with them. I can spawn a shoebox of PE and AA+ each. Side by side. Same conditions. The AA+ will literally be starting its second flush before the PE box starts to pin.

The classics seem to pin after 10-12 days. The PE is usually around 18-20.

Wow that's a long time thanks for the heads up! With the long wait does that make them more prone to contamination before you get a flush from your experience?

Not if your spawn is clean. I've had shoeboxes sit around for over 2 months and not get contaminated substrates. I've also had to to throw out several due to trich before they got fully colonized. It's all about the cleanliness of the grain spawn.

My grain is always sterilised correctly and I've never had contamination in the spawn. I was just thinking the longer the substrate is sat about waiting to fruit, the higher the probability trich or something else will find its way in before you actually get your fruits. Regardless of how clean you keep your area there's not much you can do about spores floating about in the air. I was just wondering how resilient you've found this particular variety.

Did you grow from MS or isolate or clone LQ or what?

I start the spores out on agar and once its cleaned up there I go to grain with it. I dont usually clone fruits so most all of my stuff is MS. I like to roll the dice! Lol

I'm not dissing you so please dont take this the wrong way. If you've never had any kind of contamination you either haven't been growing very long or you are very lucky. Sooner or later it will show its ugly head! Honestly I've learned the most about mush cult from my failures than successes.

I've only been growing about five  months.
But I've grown a lot in that short time. I'm lucky that I've never had contamination in the spawn but I've had contamination after it has been added to substrate. Trich killed off my first ever monotub before I even got fruits :frown: But you live you learn!

That's what I mean. I've had spawn that looked and smelled great do exactly what yours did. Trich out within a week or so after spawning. From what I understand its rarely the coir/verm that tams out. More than likely its hidden tams in the spawn.

I just keep reading and learning all the time. The best way by far is actually getting my hands dirty and doing it. Trial and error.

Yeah I think it would be hard to contam from verm/coir. I use horse shit so I'm pretty sure the contams come from in there. We're not going to win every time. I usually have 2-4 tubs going simultaneously so even if one fails it's probable I'll still get a harvest.

Yeah man. Backups to backups. I had a horrible outbreak a year or so ago and lost everything I had going. I started doing strictly shoeboxes. 1 pastyplate to 1 myco quart of wheat. Then i would spawn the 1 qt to the shoebox with coir/verm, bucket tek.

That way my contamination was isolated to one spawn jar or one shoebox and I didn't have to lose an entire mono tub.

I still enjoy the shoebox method. It allows me to work with 4 or 5 varieties at a time that way.
