Got fired today... Fuck

For missing work because I was sick for two days and couldn't pay to get a doctor's note.

GM at the restaraunt was a crazy robot bitch I should've expected that.

I feel like I should just try to work FOH in a restaraunt so I can actually make decent money.

Fuck man. And I still feel like shit.

Yeah it's just like damn I literally could not pay to go get a doctor visit. Maybe if I got paid more while working like a dog. Their loss tbh, I put more work in than anybody and never complained.

People tell me I seem like I'd be good at FOH anyway. That's the next thing I'm trying. Fuck working yourself to death for no pay or respect.

You gotta gtfo of the restaurant biz. They dont pay employees enough to afford health care, then fire them when they cant get to a doctor? I worked in kitchens for the better part of 10 years. I'm still pissed about all the shit I put up with.

Definitely get out restaurants. Get into manufacturing. Find a machine shop, they likely will hire you if you're trainable and seem level headed, determined, and reliable. Probably start you at 15 - 20 an hour, you'll work your way up to 25 an hour in less than a year. Then buy / finance your own machines and your own shop, make around say.. $4000 bucks a day.

I will.

I'll try getting a server job asap though just because I'm sure I can get that soon. Serving doesn't pay too bad.

I was working as a cook at Chili's. Til today.

I work as a chemist now. One of my biggest motivators for going to school was just to escape the fucking restaurant industry.
