Analog audio is the best

I only check the thrift store from time to time
Records are expensive

Yup I agree, I love listening to some lossless audio and noticing the crackles/pops and thinking "sweet this is from vinyl!"

Honestly as long as it's a decently loud high quality recording the vinyl noises are pretty minimal IME, some older quiet music can be worse but with classic rock you'll barely notice for a lot of the loud parts.
