Morning glory seeds

My coffee grinder finally arrived. Now I don't have to put with chewing all those seeds. Just took 30 ground ones and I ground another hundred. Here's what the finished product looks like. There are 100 ground seeds.

Have you had morning glory seeds before? And enjoyed it? The nausea was just too much to enjoy any of it for me. But some people really seem to enjoy it.

The first time I tried them it was amazing. Saw many trippy things and really enjoyed it. Had about six packs of store bought seeds. Didn't get much nauesea but the trip lasted a long time.

Oh god I had the worst experience with morning glory seeds, read up on erowid about people nulling the taste/bad side effects and sickness with apple sauce and ginger tea.  Washed around 120 seeds under cold water for 30 minutes to get rid of any possible "coating" or pesticide/whatever they used to try and discourage people from eating them, ground them up and put them into a jar of apple sauce.  Looked like someone had sprinkled assloads of black pepper into it.  Long story short other than a bad headache and real bad chunky vomit, very little happened other than a comeup effect that felt like the lowest threshold level of LSD. I can't look at apple sauce the same way again without feeling incredibly nauseous.

Take it as a warning story if you will lmao, I was likely being a dumbass in one way or another

Ate another 30 and the effects are now quite pleasant. A very spacey feeling with some visual change noticed. Feel pretty damn wrecked.
Very strong effects. Music sounds different. Having quite a good time. Definetly different than rivea. Rivea are milder I would say. I have finally found my drug of choice.

Morning glory are a sacred hallucinogen.
They have been used for centuries. Not just Walmart.
The Aztecs used them for their ceremony's.

You are starting off really low with your dose? Why? Its already a very mild psychedelic with nasty side effects why wouldn't you make sure your gonna get a decent trip out of it for suffering threw the side effects? It doesn't sound like you have alot of nausea but most people report  alot of vasoconstriction and headaches including me lol no stomach problems with you at all?
My days are over with LSA/morning glory/HBWR because i have access to much better psychedelics in my opinion but when i was doing them i wouldn't start with any less than 200 seeds with morning glory and no less than 8 seeds of HBWR or else it would be a complete waste. Its way to mild of a trip to low dose the stuff or else your just getting all the nasty side effects with a very weak trip and with it being so mild those side effects usually overpower the good ones so it seems like a complete wast to go low with these seeds :shrug: i definitely had some good experiences with it, its very earthy and has a touch of that connection with nature  spiritual type feeling that mushrooms have but ive also had some really bad experiences like being sick the whole time which was completely miserable.
Very little visual activity at all even at the higher doses the visuals are pretty lame and weak. Definitely a change in color and some slight sparkly and light flickering effect that is a little interesting but other than that theres not much to say about the visuals. Oh i guess the closed eye visuals aren't bad they are probably the best out of any visuals that you get from it in my opinion. Trips are definitely not all about the visuals but its definitely somthing i prefer to have happen during a trip and with LSA there are none of the good ones like fractals or warping/melting/flowing or crawling.
The head space is about the best thing about it in my opinion, very earthy type of feel a deep connection to mother nature and a deep calming peace with the universe.
In the end it just wasn't worth all the side effects it came with and i tripped on morning glory and HBWR upward of 100 times so its not like i only tried it a couple times and gave up on it i actually gave it a chance to show me what it could do and it just never really impressed me especially with other far superior psychedelics out there.
But my question is why start so low with these things? 30 seeds? Like i said i never went any lower than 200, i was usually in the 300 to 500 range for a good solid trip my self.

I Have experienced with them in the past but I couldn't remember the dose. So i decided to take 30. Then another if nothing was happening. I have had a quite good experience.

But remember every batch of seeds and species contain different amounts of chemicals. That is another reason that I started low.

I understand that you were working on the side of caution and different batchs and different species can have unknown amounts of chemicals but 30 seed is over the top low especially for your run of the mill heavenly blue, flying saucer, blue star and several others species of the average morning glory seeds.
Thats like not even a micro dose or i guess that would be considered a micro dose? I dont know? But for me personally and im sure a good majority of people 30 seeds would do little to nothing unless your extremely sensitive to LSA and the other chemicals in the seeds.
There is info online how to calculate how much of said chemicals are in each seed or per gram of seeds and 30 seeds probably weighs around 3/10 of a gram and thats just a rough estimate so dont quote me on that but again it just seems like way to little to even bother with unless your extremely sensitive.
You said you got some ok effects though so im not doubting you or anything it just seems kind of absurd to me and im sure others to take that amount if your looking to have a decent experience, even for a test run just to see how potent they are i would say at very least to start with 100 but what do i know this is just my opinion  and from my vast experience with the seeds so what ever floats your boat i guess :shrug: im glad it actually worked for you and kind of surprised for 30 seeds.

Well he actually ate 60 seeds.  If they were strong it would be a low level trip, more than a microdose anyways...

I also use at least 500 seeds, usually ~750, but I always do a cold water (or evaporated methanol) extraction that has been filtered well.  A cold water extraction loses about half the strength compared to eaten seeds IME.
