It really is alot of fun there is soo much you can do and alot of different equipment.

I just got done plowing, cultivating, and sowing my fields. You don't always have to plow like every 3rd harvest but it increases your yield by %10. Now I gotta fertilize. Gonna look into some cows and pigs so I can make my own fertilizer and slurry.

I might just have to check out that trucking game Musiclover sounds right up my alley haha. That Rimworld game looks too intense for me

Check out Rimworls a bit more before deciding, it has a learning curve but can be played many ways and has a lot to do. Farming is a big part of the game too actually, you have to farm or hunt for all your food. And you grow cotton and other materials for clothers, you can grow drugs like cannabis/coke which your colonists can use medicinally or recreationally. You can grow hops to brew beer and can also trade any goods. You can also turn off the raiders and play peacefully, and with the difficulty up you need to be strategic as pirates/raiders can get tough!

There are also some kick ass mods, you can start a cult to worship Cthulhu and even sacrifice prisoners in return for spells. Or add light sabers and force powers/jedis as well as the Empire and Rebels as factions. Or add tons of cyborg upgrades you can surgically apply to colonists, or even animals you've tamed. There are lots of mods too that add random stuff like tobacco and cannabis extracts, or robots, or different food crops, furniture/structures, etc.

It's a kick ass game, it's the kind of game where you often end up dying horrifically and learn from it to improve your next colony. It's meant to have a storytelling angle as well and is totally random so each game can be different. Colonists have random personalities and will love or hate each other over time (or both) They will occasionally snap when very unhappy and binge food/drugs or act crazy, and sometimes get into fights. There are mods that expand upon the psychology aspects.

Alright you may have convinced me to check it out now. After I put some more hours in here. I don't think I could take on 2 sim games at once.

I spent so long trying to get black and white 2 to run on my new desktop But it just wouldn't work, lags pretty bad on my laptop so I was super excited... They need to make a sequel FFS, though pretty sure the studio is gone
