well I never did any drugs through high school. Didn't even smoke. I would occasionally sneak a strawberry daquiri at work, but never really got drunk. Not that I was anti-drug or anything... i just didn't want to get caught by my parents. plus i was really anti-social in high school and all my friends were the churchy type.

anyway I worked with this chick named kelly who looked like she was 14 but was really 22. she would always talk about getting high and stuff and she was funny and we would always go floating with everyone from work and i'd ride with her and all the other kitchen staff and they'd always try to get me to smoke with them and i never did. just scared i guess. it was the whole illegal thing i was uncomfortable with.

well, one weekend i went to a nightclub with some friends from highschool and they were smoking a joint so i finally gave in and hit it with them. didn't feel anything.

next time i worked with kelly i told her and she was like 'I'm so mad at you! you were supposed to get high with me first!' then invited me to her place after work to smoke.

so i went over there and so packed a pipe and I was like WTF? and she showed me how it worked so i was smoking it and she was like 'you're not doing that right... you have to inhale it all the way. remember sucking and holding helium into your lungs to talk funny? that's how you inhale weed' and i was like 'oh' and she was like 'oh, that's why i don't feel anything' and she was like 'fuck around, let me show you how to get high' and pulled out a three chamber bong. she poured ICE WATER in all three chambers and she was like 'i'll light it and pull the stem, you just inhale' so she lit it and I started inhaling and next thing i know her eyes got real big and she yanked out the stem real fast and goes 'oh....my...god...' and I was thinking 'what?' but before I could say it my lungs felt like the exploded. I spit out the smoke and coughed for a good 5 minutes. chugged almost a whole 2 liter of dr pepper. After i was done coughing she was like 'Dude, you were sucking FAST. you cleared that whole three chamber bong and it was THICK smoke' and all I could do was say 'this is some good dr pepper' then we laughed for what seemed like 3 hours. I remember she had wallpaper in her bedroom that had ivy all over it and it was trippy. i think we listened to one of eminem's first CD, the one with the broken vicoden on it. eminem lp or whatever. and i was totally grooving to the bass line to brain damage.

yup. my friend kelly's pretty cool. I'll have to call her tomorrow haven't talked to her in like 2 months.

7th grade end of year dance... my friend pulls out 2 joints in the bathroom and we sit down on the toliets smoking them up... walking/stumbling back into the dance where some REALLY shitty band was playing. We just sat next to the wall and laughed our asses off... I didn't smoke again for a few months, but then became a regular stoner. Love at first sight, I guess you could say.

Outta a 2ft pogs holder...i tried smoking once or thrice before but no effect.

I was sitting on a couch a few minutes after smoking....then boom....i wave my hand in front of my face slowy a few times and say to a friend- Wow! its like i got up to fast, but its not going away!


hah i will never forget that.... (this was summer before Junior yr of HS)

^^lol, we used to put little nugs into a hollowed out cig. didn't chop them up or anything. while smoking, the paper would burn and the nugs would mostly just drop out as the paper burned away!

The first time I smoked up I was 16 and I didn't get stoned, but I got really really giggly.  It was with my friend Lauren, who had the shittiest weed on the planet.  I didn't know that at the time, since I hadn't even SEEN weed before that day, but man, do I know it now!

Anyway, the first time was fun, even though I didn't feel anything but the giggles. 

The second time was with Lauren again, a month or so later.  We live near a watershed which is inside a state park, and she had a hidden spot waaaaaaay into the shed on top of the mountain where nobody ever went.  It was a really long gravel driveway that didn't seem to go anywhere, looked like it was never used, and laid parallel to the main road behind a screen of trees and bushes. 

So we drove up there in her car, which was this HUGE station wagon so there was tons of room inside, and proceeded to smoke up.  (Before Lauren met her boyfriend and later found out that her parents smoked and kept a stash of really good KB in their bedroom, she always had  this terrible, dry, loose shwag.)  So we smoked probably about three or four bowls together, and just laid back and listened to the soundtrack to the movie Go (which is GREAT stoned music). 

I wasn't really expecting anything to happen because of the time before, so I was actually pretty bored.  Then, I suddenly felt really really hungry, and sat up really quickly to tell Lauren so. 

That's when it hit me.  I was really fucking dizzy, and when that went away, the stars outside were soooo bright and glittery, and the cars that would go by on the main road looked and sounded like trains, so for the longest time, I thought the road was train tracks.  This seemed perfectly reasonable to me, and so the scenery around me would change to fit whatever I was thinking about.  Instead of being in the car, I would be in a long hallway with huge pillars, or in an open field, or in my bedroom. 

I would tell Lauren all this shit, and she'd just crack up and we'd laugh for the longest time.  Then we'd calm down and just sit there grinning like idiots at each other, and then that would make us laugh again.  It was so fun.  I also remember, at one point, trying to say 'marijuana', and it coming out 'mararah'.  It's a very old running joke now and we laugh our asses off everytime we say it.

Also that night, we began the long tradition of driving to Dunkin' Donuts after getting stoned and getting a half-dozen donuts and just devouring them.

i had smoked several joints before with her but never really felt "stoned". that day, we took several rips out of her steamroller and it was the same as every other time. she pulled out a joint she had rolled and we proceeded to finish it off. like my third hit almost as soon as i took it in, something just clicked and i got really stoned.. since then its not been a problem getting stoned :P

i was in school my first time. i was bludging with 2 other friends. we went to buy a bag and afterward went to a park nearby our school. they asked if i wanted to get stoned. i said yeah why not. i was pretty curious since my brother smoked weed since i could remember. so were sitting behind these bush's and they pack a cone, smoke it to show me how its done.. then my other mate went, then they packed me one. i actually got pretty fucked up of just 1 toke, then i had another toke and the cone was finished i was so high. i felt like i was sitting in a ocean of heat waves crashing up onto me. i was laughing heaps. i thought i was hearing stuff and i was like "dude whats that soind?" then i thought "soind isnt a word" -> "HAHAHAHA" i cracked up laughing so hard my stomach hurt. then my friends left to go back to class, so i went back. i was talking to much so the teacher told me to goto the front office. i didnt go and instead went walkabouts stoned out of my mind. i didnt eat anything that day and i started getting paranoia, thinking i was going to die because i had no food in me and because i had no food, i had no energy, and my heart was pumping like mad. i thought i was going to die :P then i went home and played video games lol

I was 10 years old..I've always hung out with my cousin who is about 6 years older than me and he was smoking a bowl in his bedroom while I was with him. He ended up talking me into taking a few hits.. Then about 15 minutes later I'm sittin on the couch and I just start getting this strange feeling in my head.. I guess the high kicks in and I'm playing with my toys that I had with me. The next thing I remember is waking up the next morning not knowing what happened.

This is the strangest experience I've had on weed because I could not recall ANYTHING! except what I just typed..

this was back when I had lung capacity, and I used it all
coughed for about a minute and a half
next thing I know, this little wooden statue of a cat arching its back is the funniest damn thing I've ever seen.

first day of summer going into sofmore year. just finished a 3 hour exam- combined with 10 or 15 bowls of the brownest shittiest shwag around and boy do you have a fun time. we watched something on mtv about gay people, I think it permenantley damaged me in ways that are yet to be seen.

My first time getting high was amazing. Smoked out of an apple-pipe (the smell of apples will forever be associated with that of burning cannabis in my mind). For the first few minutes afterwards, I coudln't tell if I was high or not, because I was amping on the fact that I had "done drugs" for the first time. My heart was beating fast, I was tingly, in retrospect, I was high and getting higher, but at the time, I coudln't differentiate the cannabis effects from my own rebellion-fueled stress reaction. I told my slightly more experienced friend that I wasn't sure if I was high. His suggestion-another few bowls and then Paul Oakenfold's - Tranceport. With another session under my belt, reality was clearly altered, I was trippin balls! I was smiling, laughing, weirded out, amazed, it was awesome.

This friend of mine had the best stereo I'd ever heard, four towers at each corner of the room, plus two normal speakers in front and a 12 inch sub under the desk. I don't know much about audio so I can't get into details, but people who knew what they were talking about always raved about his set-up, and it sounded like pure gold. I stumpled into his room, a laughing, high as hell mess, and layed down in the middle of the room. My friend put tranceport on and turned out the lights. The lightshow that followed rates as one of my best drug experiences to this day. The synesthesia was amazing. Oakenfold's mix was being converted to the visual spectrum by me and my THC-laden brain, and hardly any information was lost along the way. The synesthesia I get from shrooms is more beautiful and chaotic, but somehow less accurate, precise, less stunningly perfect as that first time.
