That first link looks like data for Atlanta specifically...

https://countryeconomy.com/gdp/usa

According to the data there we haven't been over 3% growth in years, at least not going by per capita.

Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Trump heads have been predicting stellar GDP for a year and yet the actual numbers are no better than Obamas and much worse than the numbers seen a few years ago

https://www.forbes.com/sites/markhendrickson/2017/06/09/low-unemployment-is-not-economically-dangerous/2/#5a2ca7e48676 - This guy seems to know a thing or two about economics. Probably just a quack though.

As a general rule, you should never trust Forbes.  They've been caught so many times in this forum demonstrably spewing nonsense on economics.  In this case, the author is a limited term instructor at Grove City College, which is just a smidgeon below internet blogger.

I do, however, agree with the author in this case that low unemployment is not a bad thing.  Empirical evidence has shown low unemployment no longer raises wages by a significant amount.

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
