The White House was burnt down during the war of 1812. Canada, as a nation, was federated in 1867. Perhaps you are confusing 'The Canadas', two historical British colonies involved in the war, with the present day nation of similar name.

Of course, it is likely that the British soldiers involved (or their descendents) would later become Canadian citizens upon federation - but saying Canada, and not the British, burned down the White House would be the same as saying Canada fought the USA in the war of independence.

My history is really sketchy, but I'm pretty sure that they arrived after the United States invaded Canada and was repelled by the Canadians.  And the name "Canada" has been used (officially) since the 18th century.

At any rate, fucking with the Canadians is a really stupid idea.

What syndrome causes you to make up fantasy GDP numbers? The last quarter's GDP growth rate was 2.3%. That last time we had a quarter over 4% was in 2014 when we had a 4.5% and then 5.3%

Probably you've never heard of it because you've never spent any time actually learning about economics. What do you think the best unemployment rate is? Hint: It's not 0%. Most economists would say that once you get below 4%, there isn't enough room for the economy to grow at full potential.
