I only get drugs from one guy always has reliable good quality stuff. Just thought I would post here and get a second opinion. I've had some purplish moonrock in the past but I haven't seen anything like this any ideas?

Dont think color indicates anything, Ive had pink, blue, purple whatever MDMA

I haven't tested this yet, just got it tonight. I was planning on taking it Friday at a show, might need to get a kit just to be safe

You can smoke it in a cigarette and if the ash is completely white, then you know it's pure.

Almost all of the coloured molly I picked up over the years ended up testing as MDA not MDMA but that’s not always going to be true.
It should smell like licorice. The best hands down I’m telling you the best MDMA I ever had was pure white/clear crystals that looked not unlike ketamine. It tested as MDMA and definitely after dosing you knew it was pure as the driven snow MDM-fucking-A! Never once had any colour or shade of any batch of any other MDMA come even close to matching that white shit. God dam I wish that connect didn’t run off to a festival never to return! I’d kick second in rochambo twice a week for that connect again!
Man licorice fucking sucks.
MDMA doesn’t really tho.
Everyone loves methamphetamines.

I thought licorice odor was sass.

Best molly I've had was pinkish brown, smelled like nothing really.

The white shit I described above I admit had no licorice smell tho...

Now I be curious what does cause that smell? Is it unreacted precursor?
I think it’s a fairly but not perfectly reliable way to tell it is at least an MDxx chem but you are correct it may not necessarily be indicative that the chem in question is MDMA.

I’ve never smelled a single cathinone that smelled like licorice I can say that at least. And where I am cathonones would be the most common MDMA imposter. Followed by meth but I have never once seen coloured meth in person so if I see coloured molly, I’m leaning toward it being an MDxx not meth.

It looks like some street quality mdma.
The color isn't what concerns me, its the clarity of those crystals. They look a bit 'wet' even.

I would definitely test it before taking it regardless.

No. Getting MDMA from MDA would be very complicated. MDMA and MDA are made from the same precursors. The reactions are exactly the same until the last step when you add the amine group or the methylamine group.

The licorice smell is unreacted precusor and is the same for MDMA or MDA or any MDx

Yeah, that's probably what came in the best tabs I got in the late 90's/early 2000's. I know what you're talking about, the shit that makes you feel like you're flying when standing still. It's like, first you get this chilling effect, then a chest buzz, then this feeling of being perfectly drunk, but with total mental clarity, feeling like you could do stuff you normally couldn't do, and ACTUALLY being able to do it! I used to drive 100+MPH on the stuff; sober I was afraid of highways. That stuff actually helped me conquer a lot of my anxieties.

These days I'm lucky to get brown, safrole-smelling shit. There is no chest buzz, merely heartburn, and in order to get eye-flutters or jaw-rolling, I had to take some nitrous. It depresses me so much that most people born past a certain date will never experience what was so readily available back in the day.

i would be willing to wager that the quality of MDMA is just as good if not better now a days.

just depends on your connection and dose. for me a lot of eye flutters and jaw rolling means i probably took a little too much, not some level of now i am ROLLING.

also a lot of those physical effects change as you get more experienced with a chemical. kind of like how the 10th trip on the same dose as the previous 9 will be more manageable and make more sense due to being there before.

Id bet good money my MDMA connections are more solid than 99% of what was floating around 5+ years ago :lol:

Its always pure unadulterated MDMA, no meff or other such bs, no corners cut
Always test it, dont have to trust subjective feelings, anyones word or opinion

It's weird because I remember 'pharmaceutical grade' tabs (the kind you could legally get at bars in the early 80's in Dallas, where I grew up) being described as nickle-sized white tabs with yellowish-brown specs. I heard stories about those, but never took any, as they were kinda before my time.

The most pure tab I ever got was actually a blue tab marked 'B29'. The filler was blue, and you could very clearly see the active ingredient was pure white. Other than that, there were the Tulips, which I'm told had mescaline or something 'extra' in them (more likely 2CB)...  those were a fun experience, but not exactly 'pure'.

In terms of whether purity has gone down or my tolerance has gone up, I read something in my neuro days about how speed messes with the adrenaline system in the brain so much that after awhile MA doesn't do shit for you anymore...  it just makes you go nuts.

Anyway, the molly kids have these days, at best is the brown sass, which I kinda have a low opinion of, even though I admit it's better than nothing. At worst though it's some fucked up RC. I get so sick of trusting some d-bag and then I end up puking and hallucinating, with no feeling even remotely resembling a roll. So i stay away from all of it these days, usually. But it does get offered to me from time to time, and I'm usually pretty wary.

I got into MDMA back in 2009, lots of pills from Chicago and Detroit and whatnot, lots of garbage really. In Colorado around '11 - '14, MDMA crystals were king, at least in the circles I was around, and I didn't see pressed ecstasy very often during that time period, I think people got burned out on being ripped off and given cut pills and mixed jars. Prices for really good MDMA around that time dropped to like $40 a gram too (I guess because of the darknet), I don't know if it's still that way now.

I haven't rolled too much in the past few years, but the few times I've gotten ecstasy presses at festivals or something in the past 3 or 4 years, they've been super on point, blow stuff from before 2010 out of the water.
